I never had a fatherly figure to teach me about cars and how to fix things on my own but with this video I learned how to change my tail light bulb. So thank you so much for teaching me
I don't understand why you would give this a thumbs down. Step by step clear with tools instructions Not only to remove but to put back. Thank you for your info and your time making this video nice job bro.
@@shadowdinoxd7811 Doesn’t work? I just change mine for the 1st time since I bought My 2016 in 2017 and it went exactly like He said Everything exactly , to the mm , including how hard to break it lose but having to get it pushed evenly. It definitely wasn’t the video doing anything wrong. You were just being a weenie.
4:05 Wow, this is the 1st video I've ever watched in my 4 yrs of Altima ownership, that doesn't show the person struggling to take off their tail light!
Even to this day your video was the best explained in apply pressure to middle as you slide light assembly out. I nearly cracked mines prying with screwdriver
They don’t like this video because they want you to pay a mechanic and think the bumper needs to come out! Just to charge you like 100 bucks thanks for the video i needed that push and it came off easy !! Thank you !!
Thank you. Used your video to change my son’s brake light today. Even with the instructions that housing was a little bit of a bugger to “push” out. Thanks again for your video Spot on.
Great tip on using the flat of your hand to push firmly on the outside of the taillight assembly, also testing before reassembling. Thanks for your excellent instructional video.
Wow you just saved me. Driver side popped right off. Passenger was a serious pain but luckily your video came up, and it popped off 2nd try with that technique
Good and helpful instructions. I appreciate it. Took less than the length of the video to do the left side and the right side was just as quick. One thing I did not do was remove the grommets from the liner. I hate those things and usually mess them up. So if I can get by without removing them the better off I am. I was able to get to the two nuts easy and it was a snap. Thanks JJ
Thanks a million for this invaluable information. I was trying to remove the brake light assembly after removing the two 8mm nuts but it wouldn't move. Now I know why. Thanks again.
Thank you so much! A week before I’m readying to travel across three states one of my back tail lights decides to go out. I found out by getting pulled over, yay!-no ticket, thank goodness.
The people who gave it a thumbs down are probably pissed that the light wont come out easily. I've done it and I broke the taillight trying to push and pull it out. You actually have to hit it hard to get it to come out. Or at least I did. Small break in the plastic but it got changed and works
Anybody still here? I had 1 of my tail light not working buh brake light works, took out the bulb both filaments are good, I replaced the bulb anyway and it still the same problem of having the tail light not coming on
@@Shaidamain On the approx 2017 Sentra they actually have a factory defect that causes your exact problem, but I don't know if it carries over to the Altima. My son had wire harnesses replaced a couple times under warranty.
The housing is too tough to pull for me. I tried to push and pull as hard as I can and it doesn't move at all. Yes I did unscrew those two screws. Any tips?
You are a blessing and anyone who thumbs down this and or gave you any foul feedback is a complete turd & definitely we don’t need those people in this world. Thank You again. B Good 🙏
That's cause its a piece of shit car (no offense i have one too) and sometimes the light housing won't come off. My 13, two door interrior handles, thermostat @ 100k miles. Dude, i do the work myself. I'll tell you this, you don't make the housing of the thermostat out of fucking plastic. It bolts to metal. This car is made to fail. This is more like a chevy and nothing like a toyota.
You don’t need to remove those plastic clips holding on the carpet. Just pulled down the carpet from the top gives you enough room to get to the bolts holding the tail lights. Unscrew and push the light out
Thanks for your help. I was able to replace mine with led, however I did not remove any clips. I just pulled back the"carpet" as you say. Since the 2 screws are very accessible. Unlike you I was too lazy to video and upload it.😴👍
For some odd reason my tail light will not come off no matter what I do I’m prying I’m banging & pushing but there seems to be one more connection or something else holding it in place🤬
