@@YOUCANIC Understandable, I think this video would have benefitted from showing how to get the cable off of the lever assembly inside the car as I believe most people will take that route without doing the cable too unless they accidentally damaged the cable trying to get the cable anchor out of the assembly on their own because it doesn’t look like a tough job at first but some don’t realize how easily they cans bend crimp and break those wires by yanking on them. I personally had the 1 prong on the back of the actual lever assembly piece that inserts into the car frame snap on off on mine and everything else was fine so my lever just hung loose more or less, I could tell getting that wire out of that assembly would be a chore. This happened years ago and I would just pull on it to release the hood in hand as I didn’t want to hack on my cable trying to get it out Well I finally realized if I dissembled the t-junction and just released the cabin cable From it, it would allow the extra slack to just replace the lever assembly inside the vehicle only really easily without doing the whole cable as you finally have enough slack to get the anchor point out of the assembly piece I understand for demonstration purposes why you showed the whole wire but most people want to see how to do the lever assembly, specifically just getting the anchor out of it and into the new one
I see when you did it your battery was already removed out of engine bay. That should be mentioned. Also your video is missing the last 3 minutes. Which I'm sure you're aware.
