I don't know how Akiko is able to deliver every genre of music that she has skated to. Her blades tell an amazing story on every piece of music, with such vibrancy, passion, and precision. She is truly unique among her peers.
Until I saw this program, I never really found figure skating to be something super cool. How incredible that this kind of program came out of an elegant woman like her. She has so many different styles.
Love this program for her. works so well with the speed she carries over the ice and you gotta love how the music hits that strong 'pop' when she lands her second triple toe loop in the combination!
