This guy was the most memorable as I grew up racing GNCC the year he came. This story was at round 2 at The General. He was geared up, ready to go to the line, my little brother was so shy to meet him he was just standing about 30ft away from the KTM pits, and Kurt came right over to him and talked to him for a second and signed a poster with only 4 minutes before the XC1 class was going to be lining up without even a hesitation. He was truely a blessing to have in the sport, and always took care of not only the people he was close to, but the fan's as well.
BYE Kurt... I know it might sound morbid... Lots said when he left this earth...it was due to striking an animal at speed Does anybody know what type of critter?... Was there hide, or fur...or a dead animal nearby the accident scene?.. Just curious
