I purchased the 'BMW HP Race Pit Carpet' from Sierra BMW Online. I also purchased the 'BMW S1000RR HP Race Cover Kit' from them. The license plate bracket and LED license plate light is a COMPETITION WERKES FENDER ELIMINATOR and you can order it from Hard Racing.
I purchased the 'standard' edition HP4 which didn't come with carbon fiber fairings. I've owned HP carbon fiber fairing since 2010 when I purchased my S1000RR. I transferred all of the carbon fiber parts, including the short lower fairing onto my HP4 and had the wheels painted blue. I prefer the short lower fairing because it exposes the titanium exhaust and it's beautiful blueish colour.
Wow, you did a beautiful job with the colour scheme, perfectly matching the blue accents- I especially like the seat piping, and safety wired blue bits on the engine. The carbon fiber fairing pieces are a really nice touch as well. I hate the asymmetrical headlight design though! I only ever buy bikes with headlights like my duc 916, and my 08R1- the dual slanted lights (I also have a zrx1200r, but that's the exception because it's modeled after an 80's superbike eddie lawson replica) Since you've extensively modded your hp4, If I were you, I'd have a custom front fairing and headlight setup to make it a dual slanted headlight to get rid of the round light.. It would only cost a few grand to have a custom fairing designed and produced in carbon.. Then you'd have a true custom bike! But even if you dont, you still have the nicest hp4 I've seen yet. Yes, I was stopped by the police and issued a warning for it. The officer said that when I'm seated on the bike, he can't read the license plate because the bike sag's and covers the license plate. He thanked me for pulling over and not evading him and issued me a warning.

The BST carbon fiber wheels didn't work with the HP4's Brembo brakes. I sold them to my buddy David and he has them on his 2012 black S1000RR. There's a video of it on my channel.

I have placed my order for HP4 (delivered june 2014 ) and I have also ordered a seat cover , 2 x rizoma crash protectant (one for left clutch cover and one for right side crank cover) and hopefully I will also be able to add a gold chain like yours without voiding BMW warranty. p.s don't worry you wont see my bike in your area (similar looking bike) as I am in Brisbane Australia

Finally I bought an used S1000RR 2010.... but I have been facing a very serious problem with it. When I had the problem I was searching and found several BMW S1000RR Owners with exactly the same problem.
Besides performance, comfort, power, upgrade-ability.....LOOKS is why I bought this BAAAAAD BMW. Buying a 2021 Honda CBR1000RR-R and selling all my other toys except this!
On such a extremely fine tuned and electronically advanced bike you do not simply change the exhaust. The motor mapping is programmed for the akrapovic.

Gahh I wish I woulda known about the rizoma case savers sooner. I'll have to add those to my list. I do like how you mismatched colors on both sides. It flows with the engineering design of the fairings. Nice touch. The Fender eliminator is clean, though I wonder if the license plate ever hits the swingarm under hard/fast compression of the rear? Also, what's your cleaning method for the bike? I generally don't like to use water on a bike so I use detailer spray and a wax every now and then.

I did the screen on that thing is amazing it's an amazing bike also, if I could afford I'd get it...But the bmw being a little less and still looks amazing I'm hoping to get that... If you don't mind me asking how hard was it to attain the hp4? Did you have to go reserve it? If so how early and what kind of deposit do they expect?
BMW doesn't require a reservation for the HP4 but its a limited production bike. You have to find a dealer that has one and make arrangements to take delivery. They don't require money down if you want to finance the full amount. This is the last year for the HP4 so if you want one, act swiftly.

MSRP for the competition edition is $25,900 and they don't usually budge much on the price. You might find a dealer that will discount your 1st service for your business.
Im planning on switching my chain and sprocket with 520! I have an hp4 too! Is vortex sprocket the best one you put on so far and do you prefer did over 3D chain?
A lot of problems since 2010, including the most expensive model of that: I mean the S1000RR HP4. The bike has an intermittent fault in the control handles (I don´t know the correct English name) are where switch-on of the electronic controls of the bike, on the left, and switch-on and turn off the bike on the right side. Race ready? With mirrors and indicators? You mean track ready? Also, frame covers are to protect the frame, not to stop heat. Nice bike though, and car, and house :)
I personally have a Ducati Panigale 899 (white w/ red rims... sexy af) but I never have tried a BMW s1000rr nor the HP4. In terms of feeling and thrill, what do you think of the BMW and if you have any experience with Ducati, could you compare both? Thanks a lot, RIDE ON!
IB, I noticed your sag adjustment on front fork is way out compared to mine. I weigh about 230 and my adjustment plug is screwed all the way in for proper sag, did you set sag on this bike yet? How much do you weigh? Just noticed, not trying to get personal, thanks.
I've got the same fender eliminator kit on my 2013 CBR1000RR Repsol edition. Is absolutely the best looking, but unfortunately,,,,keep getting pulled over buy Cops,,,and finally got ticket. They say it's too low??! question: have had any problems with police with your kit?

As I can see you are a BMW lover also, and would like to have your help, to know if this a kind of problem also happening in your country ? or if this is just experiencing in Brazil. The crazy thing is that I found reports from 2010 to the present day, and unfortunately it was not resolved by BMW Brazil. Hello there. My buddy David painted my wheels and he can paint yours if you remove the hub and carrier and ship them to him. You can also get them painted at a local shop near you. They can scan your fairings and get the exact color code or you can get it from your BMW dealer. David scanned my fairing and the wheels turned out great.
ibsabur Thanks I would rather someone who has already been able to match the color and had a good result. I've heard to many horror stories in the S1000 blog. The best results I've seen was the west coast it has something to do with the atmosphere I think. I see your up in Ohio. Was David able to save the etching HP4 on the rims?
David had to sand the wheels down by hand and when he did that, the HP4 logo was removed. Yes, we're in Cleveland, OH. Email me and I will give you his contact info.
I currently own a new 2012 ZX-10R and after seeing the new 2013 HP4 I now want one. Though they are limited, there is a 2014 coming into one of the dealerships. Since its a BMW, is it expensive to repair? They are expensive as it is to purchase. Are they really worth it?
