This is one of the few compact cars id take as a first car if I didn't want to stand out from the crowd, cause this is low priced sporty and good looking. It's just what every teen driver wants. Good video, I can't wait to get to see one in person.

The next 200 will be a clean sheet design. The current model was the best they could do under a very short timeline.

I've never really considered Dodge to be my first choice in vehicle, but the dart looks like a big step up from what I previously know. Something for me to consider...

Don't get me wrong, the 200 is a big improvement over the old Sebring. It's great that you're happy with yours, I just hope that the newer ones will be better and more competitive with other cars in its class, with nothing left of the Sebring.

Also in '14, the 200 will get an upgrade. It'll put another V6 in their powertrain and ditch the underpowered 2.4L I-4. However, one should tell Chrysler if one needs a 4-cyl., it should use the 2.4L TigerShark I-4 in the Dart R/T.

Remember, Dodge reps are there when they introduce a new model. Tom was part of a group of auto journalists who got a first look.

Well, that's their job. Generally though, I don't put it in unless I feel they're accurate. It's a way of telling the story without me endlessly droning on and on.

Only thing that stops me from buying one is reliability. I'd give Dodge time to prove themselves.

Yeah, that's what I figured about the 200. They need to do the same with the Avenger.

Now if Chrysler can only give the 200 and the Dodge Avenger the same kind of superior upgrade that they've given the Dodge Dart.

Definitely looks better as a sedan, hoping a hatch is coming too ;D...

Reliability? I have yet to see a turbo engine that last more then a 100k with no issues.

I don't know if it's just where I live, but the Dodge sales people make me really, really not want to even look at a dodge.

I test drove this car today--a Limited with the 1.4 turbo and 6speed automated manual trans--and I was shocked at what a noisy, balky poor driver it was. I also found the ride way too harsh, the seating ergonomics way off for my 6 foot frame. Immediately crossed off my shopping list.....

Great review but i got to say this car sucks in comparison to the Giulietta.. The alfa is VERY comfy if you put it in allf weather mode wich is the comfort setting it only gets stiff when you put it in dynamic and also 0-60 in 9 sec?? the alfa dose it in 7... The reason that this is sold instead of alfa is because of deal so alfa can later on get a a better grip over the us market

0-60 in 9 secs? I can drive mine in 5 secs

i hope the dart, focus and cruze take out the corolla and civic

If you know what the dodge dart looked like back in the day you would agree with me when I say they should change the name to the "dodge fart" because this car stinks.
