THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST REVIEW ON THIS VEHICLE THAT I HAVE SEEN ON HERE!!! I bought a 2014 r/t used in 2018? and the lug nut wheel lock key was nowhere to be found. After some research from the manufacturer, matched the right one- first try, thankfully. The caravan even came with a couple extra headphones for the ves. I always thought we were missing something on the right side of the lift gate cargo storage area and couldn’t quite figure out what. After some extensive digging, I found it in this GREAT review! A FLASHLIGHT LoL. Thanks much!! It came with everything including the remote for the ves, except for the factory lug nut wheel lock key and flashlight. Thanks, again!!! 👍🏼👍🏼
I have owned 3 of these bad boys: a 1994 model a 2001 and a 2006 Town and Country. This is one of the most detailed and well thought out reviews I've seen. Chrysler did an EXCELLENT job in inventing this market.
I must admit it.... at the beginning a hated this vehicle. ... Going from a infiniti fx35 to a Caravan...was so overwhelming, but with all this features and comfortability it didn't take long for me and my family to just... Love it..
I've owned 3 of these vehicles and have loved every single one. Our family travels to Florida 4 times a year as well as other cross country trips. We average approx. 50,000 miles a year.. Have traded in each one with more than 150,000 miles on them with no major repairs or issues. Picking up an off lease 2012 with all the bells and whistles with 11,000 miles on it next week and will be "baptizing" it with a trip to Austin, TX. Can't wait.
Wow.. wasn't expecting such a thorough job. Gotta be the best review of a vehicle on youtube.. Can't get a newer one, but am looking at getting one of these.. Really like the stowaway seats.. Bouncing back and forth between a truck and one of these..Thanx for the great review..
We are looking to get into one of these bad boys and this is by far one of the best reviews I have seen on this model. thanks for taking the time to do this.
With regards to the 4x8 sheets of plywood - you can get a few of them in with no problem at all, as they slide in under the front seats. Once you get over a few inches of them though, you will might have a challenge getting the liftgate to close. We've been able to haul plywood and MDF in our 2011 with no problems.
Best review I have seen so far. Very informative and honest from someone that actually used it for a period of time. The photo grafter did a fantastic job second to none. The music was just the right volume and type for this video. If people did not like the music they have the option to mute it than they can practice lip sinking. Thank You for your time......
I'm a little confused about the RT model because I'm in the process of buying one. Yours has a beautiful black leather interior with red stitching and while I was shopping for one I notice it not all of them had that. The one I'm interested in buying is not the RT because it has the same engine but one that's called the Black Edition which has the darker headlights, the black and chrome rims and the partial leather stitching on the inside
I looked on one of these today. I liked it, but I feel the dash had too much of a cheap plastic feel. While driving along I could also see the dash vibrating. Hope Chrysler get back to using decent materials on their dasboards again.
My husband has been wanting me to get rid of my 2005 dodge grand caravan for a while now and he mentioned this 2013 one would be so much better for us and the kids. I'm really conisdering getting this soon and say goodbye to my old dodge!
I have to say that Dodge did create this vehicle very nicely, but need to upgrade It a little. Where is the silver mirrors, and door handles. What about the sunroof and Stow N place roof rack. What about the Uconnect 730N standard with navigation. I llove Dodge and Chrysler, but Dodge need to Improve a little by making certain things standard. Do you agree? By me watching the commercials, and reviews, I take notes and Judge. Hopefully 2014 will be a little better for Dodge Caravan. Good Video.
I own a 2010 4.0L Sxt nice vans lots of power when needed but the only diffference im seeing in the Sxt and the R/T is the all black leather int... everything else looks the same....i think dodge was trying to draw in all the hot rod dads by putting the R/T badges on it lol.
Make sure you check the spare tire on these vans. I looked at mine for the first time today and it has severe weather cracks all the way around the tread of the tire. It is not safe to use. They have a 4 year warranty on them from Goodyear, providing they made your spare. They are not making any at this time and the tire is on back order.
Too much emphasis on appearance features. What I look for in a minivan is utility functions & durability. I currently have a sedan and an old P/U truck (S15). The right van will combine the functionality of both into one vehicle. BTW, families are not the only market for mini-vans. Single, old guys (such as myself) are interested in a practical vehicle also. The auto industry seems to be focused on young, active types who go camping every week-end.
The hate for these vans is completely unwarranted. I have a 2017 Grand Caravan with 50k miles and the only thing it's needed was a new o2 sensor. They're reliable and comfortable. Sure it doesn't have a vacuum cleaner or PA system like the Odyssey but who needs that crap?
I think there is a major design flaw with the headlights. I have Town & Country and the front control module for the headlights screwed up. $664.34 just for the part to make my headlights work right. Whatever happened to a on off switch or just make the lights turn on with the vehicle. I here on some of the newer vehicles the same part costs up to a $1000.00 or even more. I think you design your vehicles to screw up so you can nail us to the wall on repair costs. I rate all of the new vehicles 1 star out of 10
31 seconds ago Hey guys, can anyone help out? Im thinking about purchasing a 2013 caravan (3.6litr v6) with a 135KM the van has been owned by one owner, who did regular maintenance on it...i've been reading up on them and everyone has mixed reviews but from what i've read the 2013's have a lot of transmission problems anyone have experience with this? anything else to look out for? I did do a test drive and it seemed fine but I was only going about 50/70 km around the city, I did floor it and didn't notice any stuttering or anything of such , however the owner did say when he puts it in ''ECO MODE'' he notices a slight change with the transmission shifting and that it takes awhile to pick up in speed? something along the lines of that, I didn't really understand that but is that normal? I plan on taking it to an mechanic to get it checked out so hopefully everything will be good! THANK YOU!
7 I liked what your spleen to me but on 2013 Caravan Roman don't work so I have my phone hooked up to that RU-vid give me the directions I bought that awful b b Dodge 2013 and I like you everything I want in a new truck it's in the car and I love it on spoil my name is William Smith on the owner all that Dodge Caravan I just want somebody is play me about the 2013 Radio how you work it I mean how you make it more easier for me by S plant to me about that radio that's in the 2013 Caravan Dodge Caravan
I salute Dodge for being the only one top still make a van b/c there's still a market for it. but they're completely stupid when they act like it being able to seat 7 people is a lot That's 1 more than a car. What happened to 8, 9, & 10? Pathetic
