You could tell how hard Clint Bowyer was trying to spin his car out. He deserved a 100 point penalty, and that would kick Bowyer out of the chase in favor of Jeff Gordon, and if that did happen, I guarantee you, Clint Bowyer would be unsponsored with his car, and he would have to qualify for races with no support.

Watching this today,11 years later,my opinions have changed a little. I was way too forgiving at the time,now I think everyone involved should have been run completely out of the sport. It potentially changed NASCAR history and really screwed some guys over,big time. I have zero respect for Bowyer ever since. I don’t care about team orders,he was holding the steering wheel.
