Gotta be one of my favorite cars, hopefully within a few years after I graduate HS in a few years I can trade in my Rav4 for a car like this just something a bit nicer with leather and economical. That is if my job wouldn't require me to own a truck or big SUV.
This is just an I4. We test drove a V6 but the I4's fantastic MPGs and the fact that it has plenty of pick up is just wonderful. I can't even tell that it's a CVT. We are personal friends with the owner so we got it $750 under dealer invoice. (I believe it was around $26k when everything was said and done with). You'll love it!
Excuse me, sir, but this one was $26,000, as its an I4. For a brand new design I thought it was a steal. Your Optima is VERY nice, but not what my friend wanted. She personally felt that Honda's I4 was more refined than Kia's and appreciated the higher MPG. As for reliability, I'm sorry to hear about yours. We've had various Honda's and Acura's with almost no problems.
Yes I am a Accord fan! You have gave me the confidence to go to my dealership and turn my old one in for this one around the same price. I currently have a 11 accord and I'm glad u say that the i4 has good speed Thanks!
Great review for the most part haha. I am actually getting a Honda sometime this week and I was wondering which trim model do you recommend since you said you test drove all of them. My choices are the Honda Accord 2013 Sport or the EX-L?
Good video. I also test drove several other cars and really loved driving the accord (Altima was my 2nd, preferred the Accord's CVT), though only the Accord has good rating for small overlap collision safety. Black interior looks good but if you have kids it gets dirty like theres no tomorrow. Cheers
I am sorry that you feel that way. Rest assured I am not a Honda fanboy and I don't own a Honda. As I stated, I was extremely excited about this car and unfortunately it affected the video. Though, the Accord IMO is best in class. No other car packs in all the features, quality, refinement, and drivability for the price.
The review was still very nice. You hit all of the important points. Yea you didn't go into detail but we all got a just of what the features are and what the car looks like.
Looks nice Brook! Thats how I'd set up a new Accord. CVTs aren't that bad once you live with them and get used to it. I prefer it to a sluggish lazy normal automatic *ahem* the GMC Terrain my work has...
Great Video Review!!! I so can't wait to get mine this April EX-L V6 in the same color. First thing i'ma do is tint the windows. The Accord is by far The BEST Sedan ever and my 95 civic has gone through enough specially with the type of weather we experience here in Chicago. Awesome Video though!!
hey i like your review and u seem to answer a lot of ppl comments so i was wondering if u can help me out. i really wanted a 98 - 2000 lexus ls but theres none ever selling where i live. so i was thinking about getting a 05-06 nissan altima or a 04-05 nissan maxima. are they good cars and which would u go with? n do u know if the maxima has transmission problems?

I’m getting really good mpg on mine I don’t use eco when it’s hot out for me it seems to lag and work harder ours is all highway miles 112k local Honda dealership takes care of it or surrounding ones only use oem parts just got a tune up it’s running mint as ever I’m happy aswell glad yours is still running strong keep your maintenance up and you’ll have no issues I love my 2.4l
@@DentSideDee71 I actually don’t really use eco-mode that much unless I’m cruising for a long time. I average out 28 mpg in the city and then if I’m driving on the highway I average 34 to 36 mpg! I live 30 minutes away from Chicago and a couple weeks back I drove all the way to the Ohio Pennsylvania State line I was about a hour away from it and I only used a half tank of gas. Driving back I only used a half tank of gas! On my 2001 accord that I had I could drive up to 300 miles without filling up and now with this new 2013 I can drive up to 400 to 450 miles without filling up.
That's cool! Tomorrow or Wednesday, I might e-mail Hardy, a Chevy Buick GMC Ford dealer in Dallas, to ask if I can film at least walk arounds on their cars. I'm only 13, so dunno if they'd give me the keys. They might for my dad though.
The EX-L V6 is around $34,0000. You are wrong, Honda is not giving away this car. I got my Kia Optima SX Turbo for $27K and it has cooled front seats and heated rear seats, panoramic sunroof, etc... And don't tell me Honda is more reliable, I had a 2006 Accord EXL Coupe V6 and the engine needed repair after 40k miles plus the tranny was rough shifting, and the ride was stiff as hell. After 2 yrs with my Optima and 30k, notone single problem and still drives as new and rattle free as day one.
Hahahaha you must be kidding. I see no resemblance to the Sonata. Though there are Genesis taillights. The Honda will still be the most efficient, safest, most luxurious, and most reliable. Why can't you see that?
I can feel the Honda fanboy in this video. Not very informative.. you're pretty much just saying I love Honda and all the other cars in its class suck pretty much the whole entire video.
