I have this tuner and use it on my 18' Fusion with the 2.0 Ecoboost. The performance gain is so drastic it's as if I bought a new car, and a bonus since I use their E30 tune (even more power than 93 tune), I am saving lots of money at the pump since E85 is cheaper (around here) and blended with premium it's less $$ than if I filled with 87 octane (never have never will).

Is your fusion rated for flex fuel or are you using a flex fuel kit?

I have a 2018 Ford fusion sport if I were to get a stock, tune, and later add modifications, like a cold air intake and a downpipe well I need to update the tune and have those modifications to the tune

There would be no need for changes to the calibration as neither part impact the tuning.

Other than the CAI what else was added to the car??? Because 50hp gain puts at 295hp for the 2.0L. So adding a Intercooler and downpipe would open it up more.

I saw that too but realize that they probably use an advanced 4 wheel dyno. Some ECUs will cut power or do weird things in two wheel dyno,( VW diesel) so 4 wheel dynos that sync the unpowered axle will give real world results.

Are your tunes adjusted at all for those who list bolt ons like FMIC, High flow downpipes and such on the request forms?

depending on the mods, and their emissions compliance status, we do adjust for selec supported upgraded. However, downpipes or other emissions voiding equipment we do not.

Just out of curiosity, I have a similar setup on my 2016 fusion titanium but with the steeda intake and 91 tune. Ive heard mixed opinions on the intake pulling in hot air considering it’s not a closed cold air box. However, the filter is surrounded by a shield. Have you guys done any testing to dictate whether its getting more hot air or cooler air on your build?

As of this time, we haven't seen much improvement with air intake systems, but the temps aren't really any higher either. It just didn't need the extra air flow.

Any reliability issues reported with this tune? Do you have the end user send back a road driving datalog to make adjustments to the tune?

Our tuning has been extremely reliable for well over a decade on these cars, and the tuning is not needed to send logs, but if you wanted to, we do offer that service.

We typically recommend our tune, and thermostat upgrade for these as the best improvement for the dollar.

Do you have any mods for a 2014 MKZ 3.7L? I can't find ANYTHING online. I'd even like to turbo it, but that would take a lot of work and most likely some welding.

Unfortunately on the mkz not until 2015 for the 3.7. It's used a very unique computer from 13-14 and it is not supported

144 to the front wheels? That's about about 50 lower than where they are typically at. Obviously dynos vary, but that's a really huge difference

This is an AWD dyno, and loaded to simulate road force, so it will definitely read low.

@@LivernoisMotorsports Gotcha. That would explain it. BTW, do you guys make a 87 octane tune for the 3.0t MKZ? I saw an old video for the 93 tune (and 87 and 93 tune for the 2.7t Fusion) but didn't know if there were any updates for this motor recently. Thanks

@@RC-jg2fz For the 3.0 since they require 91+ we don't do an 87 tune.

@@LivernoisMotorsports I see. My manual says I can run 87 perfectly fine, but it says 93 for max performance. With gas prices so high (and going higher) it would be great to have a 87-89 tune option.

@@RC-jg2fz Reread the exact language, they note it will have reduced power and performance, and detonation may occur, especially in hot weather. They also take a sizable fuel economy hit.

Very minimal, in the 10-15hp range as even the stock calibration and engine are designed to run 91+ octane, but pulls power down to allow 87 to be used. As such, there's not much power left to add.

Look again, has a heat shield box with a rubber gasket around it. Seals up against the bottom of the hood. Same intake on my fusion, have the indents on my hood insulator from the box to prove. Can vouche it works better than the stock box. My 2mpg average gain backs it up
