USB Jack and iPod® Connectivity (if so equipped)
If your vehicle is equipped with a USB jack, located in the center console, you can plug a compatible storage device into the jack to play audio files stored on the device. Once the device is plugged into the jack, press the AUXILIARY button to switch to the USB input mode.
To play an iPod, plug the connector cable into the USB jack. Then connect the other end to your iPod®. Now, depending on your system, press the AUXILIARY or iPod® button to switch to iPod® mode. When plugged into the jack, only the control panel for your audio system can be used to navigate and operate all iPod® functions. The interface for iPod® operation shown on the vehicle center display is similar to the iPod® interface. Use the audio system control panel and any available touch screen keys to navigate through, and make selections on iPod® menu screens. Videos from an iPod® device cannot be played back through the vehicle's audio system while connected through the USB jack. If compatible, the battery of your iPod® will charge while connected to the vehicle.
Please refer to your Owner's Manual for more information on all audio systems and their operation.
