2013 Nissan Xterra -- Test Drive and Review 

Nice review. I owned a 2001 Xterra for 8 years until it was just totaled in an accident a couple of months ago. I just got a 2010 Xterra Off Road 4x4 for a really good price and I'm lovin it! Great durable rugged vehicle. My 2001 was 2wd and I never got into a spot I couldn't get back out of with it. The 2010, well it's a 4x4 and I am sure it can go just about anywhere I want to take it... These really are well-built and reliable vehicles.

I wanted one so bad and would have gotten a 2005-2006 model because I heard they were vastly improved as far as power a fuel economy was concerned. But I heard of the 2005-2010 Xterras having a severe radiator/transmission problem that had affected many SUVs all over the country and the repairs were in the upper thousands. I went with a 2007 Jeep Liberty and so far no regrets.

Oh man I hope they make a new xterra to because I love this style of this model ,ugh I just love that truck look. !

I love my 2004 Xterra. Runs like new! Might get me the newer model, but of course the teenage son will get the 04. Great review!

Sweet! A buddy of mine has had one for years. It's a four wheeled tackle box filled with surf casting gear all year round. It's always been on or near the beach for about 130,000. No major repairs and it made it through Sandy. They retain their value as well. Thanks for the review.

Nissan has always been one of my favorite automakers. The Xterra is much better looking than the Honda Pilot and is less expensive. A friend of mine has one and I got to drive it. I must say, it's not the most comfortable ride, but it can take whatever you throw at it. Great review Tony.

I do remember when the Pathfinder was rough and rugged, then they started turning it into a luxury SUV and it has never looked back. Luckily we still have the Xterra.

My dad has an 06 xterra it is after the redesign but before the redesigned face lift. I like the face of the new ones a little more but I still like my dads. I get to drive it everyday. It averages about 17 mixed for us. It has the same 4 liter.

Is this car very strong in off road ?

I hate the placement of the door handles in the rear doors. I want an Armada, but just hate those door handle locations.

Do they have a definite announcement it's going to be discontinued? None of the dealers I've spoken with were aware of that.

A dying breed in this age of expensive gas and cutesy-pie, cookie cutter car-based tall wagons pretending to be what they're not. This is the real McCoy along with the 4 Runner and the venerable, yet old fashioned and unreliable Jeep, great review as always and great choice of shooting area to highlight the vehicle's strong points.

I'm now a college student and I want a smaller and safe SUV. That is what I'm talking about! 😀🚙

I think the door handle placement is cool - a bit off center like me I guess - lol.

Do the older years, like 2007, come with aux ports? I've never had a car with an aux port, and that's near the top of my list on requirements?

Sure love my older Xterra but wish I got better gas mileage. Looking around for a similar size SUV with better mileage, but they all get around the same or worse...Guess I will just keep my Xterra

Love my 08 Frontier. Grossly under rated when compared to a Yota. But is more powerful and regularly kicks they're ass on the street. Not trying to offend our Toyota brothers/sisters but they the company has gone a tad bit soft. Give some love to Nissan.

i know ur channel its about reasonable price cars and day to day uses but ever reviewed a Ferrari 458 or lambo or Bentley u know a different approach another thing i love the nature break segment
