I head that Onew''s teacher at the academy usually introduced him to SM staff too but SM staff said they don't want him......luckily Onew had a chance to perform in front of Lee Soo Man in a showcase and after hear Onew singging he personally cast Onew :) super thanks Lee SooMan hehe!
If Onew comes out with a solo album (and trust me, I'm hoping he does!!) it would literally be the most perfect, angelic, lullaby-like compilation of songs and I swear it will cure all of the world problems.
Onew has a soft and powerful voice at the same time... i love his voice in ballads... but it could be dangerous... his voice can break someone's heart 😯

I miss this dork so much. Now he is lip-syncing because not to strain her fragile voice, as much as I want to be understanding MVP, I still do miss his voice soooo much! His voice is just. I really hope to hear his singing live voice soon~ Hang on all MVPs!
He's got his friend & mentor Kim Yeon Woo helping him rehabilitate his voice right now so he's in good hands. KYW mentioned that Onew has gotten a lot better now and singing well. He also has other friends & mentors like Shin Shi Kyung, K.Will. Yoon Jong Shin so hopefully he is getting a lot of help from them too.
