Installed one of the spoilers from the link provided in earlier posts on my 2015 Camaro today. The video provided excellent guidance and made installation a breeze. This was an excellent addition to my car.
Brooooooo!!! You're a life saver!!! I was about to pay $250 to get it done. I knew what needed to be done but didn't have the confidence but now I do. You're awesome bro! Thank you!!
Purchased one of these spoilers for my wife's camaro. She is traveling this weekend so it will be perfect for me to do this without her fainting because I am drilling her baby.... LOL. I can do it after watching this video... thanks!!!
Would the install on this spoiler be more or less the same steps?www.bonanza.com/listings/14-15-Chevrolet-Camaro-GT-Concept-Duraflex-Body-Kit-Wing-Spoiler-109798/316021756?goog_pla=1&gpid=76984044061&keyword=&goog_pla=1&pos=1o5&ad_type=pla&gclid=CjwKEAjwtLO7BRDax4-I4_6G71USJAA6FjN1x4BtaTohIhiboiHcFRVG-6sLFaU_45BuO1Cg5rYcExoC01fw_wcB
That spoiler looks like it mounts with small bolts on the back side of trunk instead of the top. So the installation would be much different than mine unfortunately .
Do you happen to have the link of where you bought the spoiler? Everywhere I look on eBay they say they sell the spoiler without the screws and mounting kit
Juan Molina I don't know. But you can just make some with masking tape use a 8" strip and fold the ends then stick to spoiler and poke hole through tape where screw goes. Then it should work the same as tabs.
C.L.S. Allinone ya.. its not that im uncomfortable with drilling, but im just not sure if i could bring myself to drill into the trunk incase i decide to remove it ya know?
For mine it had to be 5/16 for the bolts to fit through and have a little play. If the hole is to small then there is no room for error and the holes would have to be drilled perfect .
