2014-8-9 1st China National Wushu Games 第一届全国武术运动大会, Tianjin, China. Women 2-person Duilian 女子二人对练 Jiangsu Team Shen Qing & Zhang Yangyang 江苏 沈清 张洋洋 9.62
These two were the kids who got told by a teacher "don't run in the hall with scissors, you'll poke your eyes out¡" and then decided to spend the next +15 years of their life practicing this performance just to prove them wrong.
I'm seeing, but my eyes don't believe what I'm seeing. How is even possible to move like this? This is way better than most fights in most movies I've ever saw.
What is most impressive about this is how well they worked together, the precision in order not to have any injuries, the speed, the trust they put in eachother and the work they put into this is what truly amazes me
Yeah, perfect aiming to miss the target. Don't get me wrong, flexibility and reflex could come into your hand when practiced excessively, but this is pure choreography, and the spear fighter never aims for the core. I'd say, if she tried to aim properly, 50% of the strikes could not be dodged no matter what.
It's very easy to block if they aim at the core. I am not this fast and I can competently parry spear with jian 7/10 times. With practice you can avoid all of them. It's an extremely clumsy weapon if you're not as talented as your opponent. If you can control the spear at any stage, they're as good as dead.
When procrastination (person in red) and motivation (person in green) fight for their dominance.. Unbelievable. Amazing exhibit of power, strength, speed, accuracy, focus, coordination and years and years of practise.
It's so imposible to imagine that a Lady (red wushu uniform) can handle a Spear without any mistake and can focus in one direction only anywhere she pointed out the Spear. Because you can see how closer that spear is! 😧 They both amazing and talented wow! 🙌🥰🤩👏
Nah Don't try this in real life No one is that merciful They will drive a spear Tru ur guts and spill it on the floor It will be a full stretch of the spear trust me This is just for show
This National Sport gave us who we know as Jet Li. At age he was a coach. Just imagine...these two gave us a performance like we'll probably never see in the Western World.
its show sport, but its real martial arts and its rehearsed… (its like who can dance best) but its impressiv anyway… If i want to make a fighting scene in a movie, i wanna hire those two
Cop: "Why did you do it?" Girl: "When I came back from the tournament I saw him in the bed with another girl. I still had my spear in hand, lost control and stabbed him" Cop: "You stabbed him 69 times!" Girl: "okay, I was a little angry beforehand." Cop: "You stabbed him 69 times in the groin area!" Girl: "Didn't you hear that he cheated on me?
@@wes6719 He had it coming! He had it coming! He only had himself to blame! If you had been there, if you had seen it. I bet cha you would've done the same!
I used to think that jet fighters pilots/F1 drivers have the quickest of the reflexes among human beings, but these two ladies are on a completely different level on their own.
Usually each judge will judge one aspect since they also come from different formations, one of them knows the entire sequence and will see if they did all the movements, other will judge their stances and speed or if they moved out of the marked areas, one judge rythim etc
The same way, people would judge a dance choreography or like ice skating. You will judge how good their technique is, the most likely only objective thing about the whole choreography. And than what the other guy said: rythm, fit with the music, complexity/variety of movesets etc.
Damn I wish my uncle was alive, we would get fucked up and watch stuff like this. The only good thing about loosing someone is that you always know where they are. In our hearts. Have a blessed day you tube.
This has always been my favorite martial art along with taekwondo and Kyudo if that counts. It’s just so beautiful and outstanding to watch. So much discipline and strength, yet absolute grace and freedom of movement😍💕💕💜
wushu isn't a martial art, it's a performative sport. it's based on chinese martial arts, including shaolin, hung gar, wing chun, tai chi, ba gua, baji quan, sanda, etc...
@@micedutainmentzone8249 dude you dont wanna get smeshed XD, what they're doing is choreographed (very difficult mind you) but with Khabib, you gonna get smeshed
Yeah, so you can clearly see that the spear lady clearly waits with the strike untill the yellow one does the dodge momevent. Not to mention a lot of attacks are just stupid gimmicks. In real life when the yellow was on her back, the red would have have just stabbed her in the ass instead of raising the spear to hit from above.
@@piotrmalewski8178 And if yellow were actually that good at dodging and actually fighting for her life, she would've immediately grabbed the spear and closed distance after the very first dodge. Of course it IS a choreographed artistic performance and it's still amazing
@@piotrmalewski8178 well since you had to go there... *IN REAL LIFE* yellow lady would just grab anything that resembles a weapon and/or run for her life
You will never ever see a routine more complex, deadly on multiple times death blow attacks of spear to face with such speed, fluidity live, no camera tricks and edits like in movies/film fight scenes. Unarmed and constant lightning speed spear blade direct to the face/head.... and the range of the spear, is super difficult to move and evade which puts you always on defense and counter if possible. I wouldn't compare any demonstration routine with long spear against any weapons when these two professional women well studied, well practiced for the safety of each other of the routine w/out compromising the realism of a fluid, well crafted deadly routine.
In real life, no one can win a fair fight with this kind of skill. Remind me the Memlouk training skills in the Middle Ages. They became the kings of the North Africa and the Middle East in just a few years.
While the dodger (yellow) is the main focus of the two, I think more skills is necessary for the spear user (red). That was amazing. The speed, the rapidness, and the accuracy of the spear was insane.
watched this at .25 speed to see how precise they were (spoiler alert, scarily precise) then when i put it back to normal i was convinced i had set it to 2x speed or something. unreal.
Bruce Lee said it best... Martial Arts are confined by tradition. Good for tournament and show. These 2 are well versed. Mr. Lee has shown best of all, between, art and life. Beautiful though.
OMG! Now I can tell that those Chinese movies I watch is not some sort of magical , mythical, unbelievable, non realistic ones. Those are soooooo Real ...
