2014-2015 CHEVROLET SILVERADO, GMC SIERRA Plug and Play Remote Start Installation 

I followed the video step by step and it worked flawlessly. I have a 2014 GMC Sierra Base with keyless entry.

You, sir, just changed my life. I installed my Fortin Evo 4 years ago and have had this one recurring problem throughout. Sometimes, the truck would start when I only press the lock button twice, which is a problem for me because I like to press the lock button a second time to hear the horn beep and ensure it is locked. Having been car prowled before, this just helps with my peace of mind. Firstly, I did not know that I could turn the truck on by holding the lock button. Way easier. Second and most importantly, I did not know that you can turn the truck off by holding the lock button or pressing it 3 times after the truck is running. My dumb self, for the past 4 years I might add, was accidentally starting the truck at least once per week, then having to return to it, open the door and press the brake to turn it off again. Well, thanks to you, no more of that! Thank you!

great information, going to do an aftermarket alarm and have not done the 2014-15 chevy silverados. basic alarm, no door locks, but good to know if i have to wire thoughs in. are these a straight tap in from an aftermarket alarm? or do i need relays?? basically hooking up the door entry (grey wire ) (-) at the BCM grey plug, horn honk ( brown white (-), parking lights (-) (which i believe are a negative signal at the green/grey wire at the BCM white plug like you mentioned) also read that you have to wire the 12volt (+) constant to the battery?? ignition is purple/black at the BCM green plug.

So Today installed this system into my 2015 4x4 Silverardo 1500. Just a few comments... I Installed this device per Standalone instructions. Now my hardest task was getting the lower column cover back on... What i'd suggest is view the video... At about 2:20 in, you'll see the spring on the right side of column. I ended up running all the harness and cables down the right side of the spring.. I couldn't for the life of me get it to go down the left side as the professional above does... Then, I did have to use the programing device to set it up. I then only had to add the one wire for the first T connection and no others.. All works fine.... I do note that after starting, the only way to get it to shut down using the key, is to put the vehicle into drive for at least a second....

I just ordered this on Saturday, April 29 and received it on March 2nd. Took me less than 20 minutes and it works ! 😁👌🏽

with this system can I unlock the truck with key fob after its been remote started? I've seen others that you can't.

It won't start remotely and it had said service theft system
