Just replaced my bars at Destination Daytona on my 2021 RoadKing. The crew was knowledgeable, and extremely professional, and helped me choose the proper bar set. This can be a tough choice, but I was offered a couple of options. I chose the option the staff felt best as they do this daily and sure don't regret it. Install was like watching a NASCAR pit crew at work. Protected all painted surfaces, was efficient, and had me sit and fit. Answered all my questions (and I asked a bunch before shelling out my hard-earned money,) The bars are beautiful, well made, and solved my too-wide bar issue. The installation was exactly like the video step by step. Great staff to work with a great product.
Absolutely the best instructional video on this topic. This and the removal video convinced me you were the right people to buy my bars from. You also offer a complete installation of wiring, switches, and grips in your Locked and Loaded option that no one else offers. I could do the work but lose a day of riding in the process. My time is so limited right now I was happy to take advantage of it in riding season. And to top it off, you guys took a call from me and texted with me on Saturday, when you're technically closed! Far and away the best customer service I have ever had.
BY far the mest install video out there. I have a 2022 RK Special and these were perfect. Only difference was the turn signal wiring and plugs. Plus, your tech support is just as amazing. Thank you
You made this so much easier than it would have been if I hadn't had my tablet computer right next to me watching each segment as I went. Thanks for taking the time to make this great video. I love my KST 14" Straight Jacket bars.
Very detailed. I am putting 14" on my '18 Road King and this will help a ton. Would have been nice to have you take off the entire head light housing area to make it easier to see the wires you were moving.
Hi there, looking to buy your black 12" Spearheads for my 23 Road King Special, same installation video applies? Compared to stock, if aligned with the frame, how much width and drop should it have?
Great video. If I want to simply adjust my stock bars, can I simply remove the Road King badge from the nacelle, access the bottom two bolts to loosen, and then retorque? Risk of damage to the badge? Thanks.
I’ve got a 17 Road king police. Looking at bars from you guys. I understand the hydraulic cables will work on a 14 in which is what I am looking for. However will your extensions for the electrical harness work on a flhp?
@KST Kustoms what length clutch cable do you recommend for my '22 Road King? We listened to the guys at Harley and used their recommended clutch cable length and it seems about 4" too long so it won't route correctly. It is so stiff and moves everything around. Every way we attempt to route it is not working. Any thoughts?
I have a 96 rks with stock clutch cable and throttle cables what is the tallest set of ya'lls bars can I install without having to get longer ones? Thanks
Sorry Mike. We try to put out a couple detailed videos a year. Havnt got around to anything pre ‘07. I will say you will have to change everything out even with a 10”. Brake, clutch, throttle/idle and electrical
