So I know all about shifting the knob. I know that to shift to low4 I need to in neutral but the other day i tried testing out just shifting to low4 before I get the lever all the way seating I hear what sounds like a grinding sound until it locks in at low4. Is that normal? I’ve used high2 and high4 before no problem and know to never go over 50 and to keep my foot off the gas.
Glad to see the manual t-case lever. Now bring back the manual locking hubs. If you are too lazy to pull a lever and turn 2 knobs to lock in the hubs you don't need a truck. Oh here we go again "Neutral Gear" Neutral isn't a damn gear, it never has been. It puts the vehicle into freewheel basically disconnects the axles from receiving engine power.
Actually I can, and I'd pay cash, but don't care for the new body style. I like the 1st gens that you could take the top off of them like the old Broncos and Blazers.
I think it's stupid that you need to stop, put it in neutral, adjust the gear then put the shifter in drive or reverse for it to catch. What happens when you are in a hill or a steep slop? Back to the drawing board and be innovator Toyota
That's only to shift to/from low-range. To my knowledge, this is the case with EVERY vehicle that has a multi-speed transfer case. You should always be in 4WD BEFORE you get stuck or approach your obstacle.
"no problemo" is so wrong ...lol , but that movie by Arnold Schwarzenegger made it so famous no Spanish speaking person cares anymore ...the correct pronunciation is "no hay problema" , "problemo" is male and doesn't exist in Spanish , it should always be "problema" (female) don't ask me why , Spanish is a gendered language.
