I love mine but one of the wheel baring is starting to go out. I looked them up and they are cheap to replace. I do like that there are not many of RLXs out there . I think this car will age great. it looked under styled when it came out but now it looks just right. the whole car is in mid size range but interior is huge, ton of room. dive one when you get a chance.
acura should let the designer who designed 2003 TSX , TL to continue design for acura.these recent acura vehicles are not that attracting anymore . damn
This car is in a class of its own. Doesn't quite compare to a ES350 or E-class. It's FWD like the Lexus, but cost alot more. It cost the price of the E-class, but it's FWD. This car would be great for a person who want a premium car with alot of luxury features.
I'm not sure the P-AWS system was specifically designed to help with the turning circle...could just be a way to reduce under steer while driving. How often do you really need to pull a tight u-turn? I wouldn't base my purchase on which vehicle has the tightest turning circle. That being said I can think of a few dozen more vehicles I'd rather have for $60k.
Awful reviewer. I'm sure if it were a BMW he wouldn't be crying about the black interior. The LKA feature is pretty sweet and this guy manages to find fault in it when all other reviewers praised it. The RLX and TL have very different personalities and cater to two different audiences.
LKA is meant to have you reduce the input you put during long drives. This isn't a self driving car and no other car in the market with LKA allows you to take your hands off the steering wheel for extended periods of time. How is that confusing to understand. Please drop the biases before starting the review. Try an unbiased approach and tackle real issues. Material quality, reliability, ride quality, comfort, cabin noise! The fact that all these factors were ignored is saddening.
The price is just crazy to me. You can get a fully loaded, fantastic Toyota Avalon for example for about $40,000 to $42,000. I can't see how they justify $20,000 more for this car.
Very few people are going to buy this car with a 60 to 70 thousand dollar price tag! Even BMW, and Mercedes Benz aren't that stupid! Lol. It's worth about 35 maybe 40 thousand dollars! But even that's pushing the limits!
I have a 2015 advanced with Krell audio. Car is awesome. Had a 09 Tl before. This car drives even better not the same at all. However, the Krell sounds good but I feel the ELS I had in the TL was better. Overall, I'm glad I upgraded and will keep this car for a very long time....

What the hell is wrong with acura?? There making cars a whole segment size above what segment they make it compete with. The tl is very much midsized! Yet acura wants it to compete with the compact segment! (Infiniti g, lexus is, audi 4, bmw 3 etc...) and now this shit here looks like its trying to be as big as a damn a8 or a 7 series byt yet they want it to compete midsize! And they must be crazy to think someone wud want this over an infiniti m, or a audi a6 or just anything in this family!
There's nothing about this car that would make anyone run out and spend $60,000. It's bland, too simple of a car for this price IMO. People want a car that differentiates itself, especially if they are going to spend a decent chunk of change on it.
Overpriced.. so many eye candies but Acura lost the sportiness. They have to follow the trend, like toyota/lexus making more sporty/aggressive cars in order to compete with Germans.
How many people do you see drifting a corner in a lexus ls or bmw 7 series? The car is FWD and is meant to be a luxury ride to get you comfortably from one place to another. Why does it have to be RWD? And which country do you live in? The largest part of the USA and all of Canada gets snow. People prefer a FWD car versus RWD.
That price is drunk and the car is boring as hell. Acura is falling short of the competition by a lot. They need to come up with something revolutionary like the 3rd gen TL quickly. I still see those cars on the road everyday, more than the 4th gen TL.
