So sick and tired of this shifter not winding up in the gear I want. Made this video to show how the shifter fails to "go" to the same place when you "put" it in the "same" place.
Yes, I know one of the reasons for the difference in amount of movement is because it's clicking thru "gears" you are skipping past. That's still a human factors failure. This could have easily been implemented like every other console shifter in the world where each gear was in a fixed position. Instead with this one the Park position, in particular, is terribly inconsistent and as I show, in some cases you cannot even get to park directly.
Imagine a manual transmission shifter where 3rd gear wasn't always in the same location when you shifted!!!
