I appreciate you brother. I checked the main relay but never would have found the fuse underneath if you didn’t show me how to get to it. Thanks for saving me a trip to the mechanic.
I have a 2015 Fusion Hybrid and while the configuration of the fuse box is somewhat different, it was similar enough that I was able to follow along with your video and replaced both the blower motor relay and fuse for about $15 in parts and less than 10 minutes of work. Thanks for posting!
@@masonma3470 That could be a different relay or fuse. I’d start by making sure you’ve got power to the compressor first. It could also be because you have a leak somewhere in your AC system and there not enough refrigerant in the system. It’s a component safety feature that disables the compressor when it’s low on refrigerant.
Bro! I need your help. I have a 2014 Fusion Energi, so probably same fuses as yours. I know nothing about cars. Dude in the video kept saying to "check" the fuses and compressors... What am I looking for when I "check" them? Like how do I know which ones are bad and which ones are good? My a/c just randomly stopped blowing altogether as I was driving today. It's summer, and I do rideshare for a significant portion of my income, so I desperately need to fix this ASAP! Please help!
question 15 fusion the AC, passenger window and back, and my stereo have stop working at the same time. now they all sometimes come on but 3 days later it shuts off, i checked fuses they all good.
My air conditioner has slowly stopped working, 2012 fusion. Last summer it was just cold enough to be able to keep it on full and now have to have the windows down. This year it's nothing but hot air. I tried to use a refrigerant can but it said my system was too high pressure. What would you suggest I do?
On my wife’s account but if the Air comes out and it’s not cold it could be that it needs to be recharged or the A/C compressor is not kicking on.you can fix by tricking the A/C compressor to kick on and recharge at the same time.or the A/C compressor is just bad
@@glorialopez9691 how can i trick the compressor. I just changed my compressor and added frion . Also the fans come on but dont stay on they are only on for like about a minute or so, then they turn off.
I know its been a while, my issue im having is that sometimes the air will instantly blow out when the ac gets turned on, and then other times it can take anywhere from 5-20 minutes and it will randomly turn on out of nowhere.
I have a 2016 ford fusion. And I have a similar issue. My car shoots cold air when the temperature is around 70 or 80. But anything above 90 and it won’t blow cold air at all. Usually I get cold air at night. So cold it’ll frost the windows up but during the day it feels like it’s just blowing fan. The ford dealership told me it was the fuse relay box and replaced the whole box but I still have the issue. I can’t think what I could look at to get the ac to work right. It’s like something is getting over heated and the system prevents the compressor from engaging.
My AC is blowing but not cold. Tried recharging, nothing. My 10amp AC compressor fuse isn't lighting up. It's not blown so I tried replacing the relay and nothing. Tried replacing the air temperature sensor and still nothing. Do I just need to replace the AC compressor itself? I'm all out of ideas
I have a 2015 Ford Fusion SE - the AC blows cold on passenger side only and warn air on driver's side. It seems like after awhile the driver side cools down but I think its the AC blender door actuator. Would reset help> if so which fuse # should I pull to reset ?
What else would cause the fans not to work? Also my system turns on blowing super cold after about 5 mins or so of driving but if you turn it off and back on it’ll blow out out for 5 mins or so again?
The whoe relay box is kinda loose . Could it affect the cranking and stalling problems I've been experiencing .? Car has been in wreck but mostly rep[aired and I bought it as salvage title . No chbeck engine ever turned on and both AZ and OReillys say their scanner won't pick up codes iof no check enginme is not turned on . Still took it to auto shope they scanned it and found 20 codes and said it;s the ECM / BCM . Definitely want a second opion
Is there a fuse for the mode actuator? my car won't switch which vents I ask for. stuck on cabin and floor air coming out. won't push air up for defrost. car is at 120K miles 2016 ford fusion and just happened. some videos show replacing the whole mode actuator, just wonder if it could be fuse related too. Thank you!
That’s correct to a point. They a “female” type fuse and are rectangular shaped. Those fuses come in a long or short version. The one that I replaced for my blower motor was the short version.
I recently replaced my factory radio stereo with one of those from china on my Ford Fusion 2013. I plug everything back the new radio and heater, but now the temperature control does not work, the heater works, its blows only hot air. I turn on the A/C, temperature all on cold but no cold air just hot air. My question is could I have burned out one of these fuses while replacing the radio? Also I left one of the factory radio connectors loosed because the new radio only had one connector on the adapter, I don't think this could be the problem because these connector was from the old radio but could it be possible that this is causing that failure on my A/C temp control?
I just replaced the ambient temperature sensor on my 2015 fusion and not the AC will not engage at all. It blows hot air when set to hot but the “cold” air is warm. Any idea how to fix that?
I'm having problems with my 2010 ford fusion, the connector on the resistor got hot and melted, so I replaced the pigtail and resistor....everything started working again, but I have weak air flow from the vents, so I changed the cabin air filter, and it didn't help, so I changed the blower motor, and I'm still not getting the air flow thru the vents that I should, I don't know what else to check, can you please give me some advice?
I do have a question if the heat stay around 80 outside my air works fine very cold all day long but it gets in the 90 and stop and go it still get ice cold but lets say i stop and start up car again and it just blows hot air and it might take me driving on freeway for 5 mintues for it to come back on and if its really hot in 100s sometimes it will take longer of a non stop drive to get the air to go again. I was thinking that a relay is bad and wont swtich on when its to hot and after the air cools the car from driving the replay cools down a bit and starts the air working again. any issues like this before? 2014 ford fusion energi se its only summer when i have this issue for less then a month because of 100 degree days but im tired of it...
All my fuses are good but I seem to have a short in the wires between the switch and the fan. I can wiggle the cable near the connector and sometimes the blower will activate. My guess is the power wire is not making connection (or ground). Not sure how to resolve. I brought it to a mechanic who changed the switch and I still have the same issue. (300 dollars lighter). Wish I had a wiring diagram so I can jump the connector. Any ideas?
My cooling fan doesnt turn off. A/c works but doesnt pump cold air... now my shifter is stuck in park and my radio doesnt work. Everything leads to a blown fuse or break pedal switch. Any suggestions?
Hi, my AC works perfect but sometimes if I turn off car & start one more time, AC just blow air but is not cool anymore,, what do u think? Is this an electronic fault.. thanks
How's it going man? Quick question. I have 2017 Ford Fusion Energi SE and the AC and heat doesn't blow at all. It makes the sound like it's coming on but nothing blows out. Air nor heat. Any idea what it could be?
I figured it out. The blower motor was bad and has to be replaced. I picked up one from AutoZone and pulled up how to replace it on RU-vid. It's located behind the dashboard and it's easy to reach and replace. AC blows really cool now and heat works as well.
Hey so my climate control and passenger windows don’t work when I turn my car on. Do you know if it’s a fuse or because the passenger windows are connected to the problem could it be something else
