2014 Hyundai Sonata AC HEATER BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT 

About to do this for a 2015 Sonata. To get the pin in on the new actuator, turn the temp dial while ignition on to have arm rotate until pin aligns up. I found your video useful! Dealer prices to do this are outrageous! 5 stars for attempting this! This video should be entitled: "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly". The good is your son watching. The bad is twisting yourself as a pretzel to get it out and the ugly is the broken piece!

i’m having the exact same problem, AC only blowing through defroster! definitely gonna try this

I just replaced mines. I was literally upside down on the seat changing the part. I sweated buckets. I did have a mini ratchet that allowed me to turn the screws. It worked. The part was making strange noises before now it's quiet. I think the gears were bad.

I’m currently replacing mine too on my 2014. But can’t get the white lever pin to line up (same one that broke on yours). Did you ever find out what door that broken pin controlled?
