When I lived in the UK in SUFFOLK, our church choir sang this too. I miss the choir badly since living in GERMANY again. Twice a week we had choir practice in our old church and really enjoyed it. It was a good time.
These are young people and the quality belies their age. Never expected such precision and passion. Absolutely beautiful performance by both the orchestra and choir.
A perfect rendition of a great classic composer of Franz Joseph Hayden from Austria which was well performed by this choir and orchestra as well as an impressive conductor. Our God is surely glad to listen to from heaven. God bless you all folks. Regards from Jakarta Indonesia
I listen to this again and again as I watch the sun rise each morning. Only the Heavenly choir could do a better rendition of this anthem. It's one that I've heard all my life and sang when I was young like these young people. What a blessing!
This inspires me, a high school chorister aiming for All-State (still waiting on the results-prayers for that) and singing this for tomorrow's concert. It's also the best version I've heard thus far. Great sound, intonation, diction and musicality. And the passion of this huge choir! And the youth! It's not a bunch of old folks singing with that slow tempo and choppiness which I hate, which butcher this piece, you know? THIS tells the glory of God, not that. If I were Haydn I'd have intended a sound like this one. Plus they got the full orchestral. Everything about this makes me happy. It's just so good.
even though not a european, my shared Christian faith helps me appreciate the european master composers and such master pieces. timeless pieces that proclaim the Glory of God. absolutely beautiful. makes me smile with contentment.
A lovely video. That so many young people are clearly enjoying themselves in this excellent performance from Haydn's Creation is a credit to their choir leaders. I really love the chorale interpretation of the solo parts. Franz Joseph Haydn would have approved. Well done young people of Iowa All State Chorus.
Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter are nearly alighned and will be perfectly aligned this Thanksgiving. When I saw this in the sky, I immediately thought of this fantastic piece of music. This group does an amazing job!
Trecho mais conhecido do oratório 'A Criação" do compositor austríaco Franz Joseph Haydn. O Hino Nacional da Alemanha é deste mesmo compositor. MOST famous chorus from Haydn's 'The Creation". He also wrote the tune known as GermanyNational Anthemn
Gosh I sang this song as a church choir set piece back in Kenya as a 12 yr old or 13yr old. For Hymn competitions! Oh! I still sing it loudly in the house and annoy everyone in the house including neighbours! And I switch from one voice to another, depending on which is still in my memory! LOL!
In 1960, as part of the Florida AllState Chorus, I was privileged to sing this beautiful number along with other high school and junior high school students plus the All State Orchestra and the All State Band. All totaled roughly 1000 voices and 500 musicians. It was incredible. While this is a smaller assembly they did an outstanding performance. God bless them.
I was part of that All-State choir, and it was even better singing in that choir than it is listening to it. Although one benefit to just listening now is that your throat doesn't get rougher than sandpaper from singing every day for hours for a couple months so that you can get into the choir, and then singing more in rehearsal for this awesome concert. But it was completely worth it.
The heavens are telling the glory of God, the wonder of his work displays the firmament. (Chorus) Today that is coming speaks it the day. The night that is gone to following night. Chorus In every land resounds the word, never unperceived, ever understood. Chorus
