Mike Krzyzewski tbh something about the 2015 llws just didn’t sit right with me. Idk it was my least favorite year by far. Uganda was the only team I really liked in that year
I'm from near Chicago and I was hoping they'd pull through. But hey, it must have sucked for Japan too, one game away from the championship. Personally, I'd be honored just to make it as far as the champs.

I still consider Chicago the American champions. Just like I still consider Pete Rose a Hall of Famer. I still remember all those wins from the Fab Five.
joe momma The difference here is that Pete Rose didn't cheat, he bet against his team. This Chicago team brought players from different regions to play for them. There isn't really any comparison between this team and Pete Rose. If Rose took steroids, then yeah, because he gave himself an unfair advantage, but he didn't.
+Skefull The coaches didn't bring kids from different regions. They got kids from out of their boundaries. They all still lived in Chicago. They are just from different little leagues in the city

I mean there good but they just get picked from random ok travel teams then once they get to the llws Easton says oh they get to use top of the line bats with little balls inside them to make the ball go farther and they come back realizing that the bats are 50% of their power and you can't get those corked bats into any other league cause it's cheating
I'm 13 and most of them are bigger than me. So why are they playing on a field for 9 year olds. I'm playing on a field with a 60' mound and 300' fence, and most of the time I'm hitting it out with ease
Honestly, I think the little league World Series is kinda dumb, kids true age are playing on middle school teams playing on 90 foot bases and throwing from 60'6" and playing on 300 foot fences. These guys are pitching from 48', running 60' base, and hitting 200' home runs
Wes, its not the age group, its the field i have a problem with, other than the outfield kids my age and older are playing major league sized fields, and these kids are playing on what 9-10 year olds should be playing on.
Im twelve and im not trying to brag but I hit homeruns regularly on 248 fields. That isnt that big but the fields these people play on are so small like seriously
I am from Chicago, and it sucks to have the tital stripped from us, but at the same time, we actually played this team in the sectional qualifiers and we almost beat them, idk if it was because of there pitching or what but it was 7-6. If we would have known they weren't from the same league, we might have been able to make it. :/
Wow I actually thought that LLWS kids were as good as most club players. Most of these are errors with an rbi or a diving catch that could easily be caught without a dive. Just my opinion.
everyone saying this was the greatest year of the LLWS has 1) never seen the two years georgia won the whole thing back to back and 2) either has forgotten or just doesnt know that chicago literally cheated and ruined the whole series for every other team that played honest and fair???

People don't know the real Chicago story. Cluelss people keep talking about how they got what they deserved and they got destroyed by South Korea. They kids didn't get what they deserved though. They were just doing what they had to play baseball. Everyone acts as if they had like 5 fourteen year Olds instead of 3 kids that lived on the other side of town. And also they didn't "stack" their team. If Chicago stacked their team they would have mercy ruled every team they played. But they didnt. They definitely had flaws just like every other baseball team. They got 3 players IN CHICAGO that had lived in different boundaries. Also people keep saying how they took other opportunities for kids to play In llws. Even though Chicago did, its not like any other great Lakes team would have gottem any farther. The Nevada team would of won by a landslide and then would have gotten creamed in the the Championship. 2014 LLWS did not have very good teams like 2015.
Any little league player at their level, realizes a kid they've never played with/against is all of a sudden on the all-star team in their district. I understand why a child, led by adults wouldn't speak up while it's going on but for them not to understand why they're being punished (now) is ignorance. Any further conversation about this teaches them to act out when they're caught doing something wrong rather than taking it like a man and learning right from wrong.
gusdahlehhater It's unfortunate really that a racist pig like yourself is on the right side of the issue of cheating, but by your actions give everyone reason to believe their being stripped of their title is based in racism, and not the true cause, which is they cheated. I think that they should change the championship day. It's right after the semifinals. Give the kids arms some rest, that way they can pitch the best pitchers in the championship.
