High speed open ocean Personal Watercraft racing as riders charge from Long Beach to Catalina Island and back in pursuit of the coveted Long Beach To Catalina & Back Personal Watercraft Offshore Endurance Championship.
My dad just got out of surgery today bc of pelvis fracture. We crashed our jet ski on Sunday lol it was his first time riding one. We hit a wall near the 40 Mph but me and my brother loved the jet ski. At the end it was not the jet ski's fault so XD we fixing it to get back on it again..
+J. Butt lol the accident was in a narrow canal. He got distracted looking at a dog racing us on the shore and lost the controls of the jet ski so when he saw we were going straight into that wall, he got even more nervous and instead of turning around or stopping, he just accelerated more
Looked more like a lake. Where are the waves. They should do this race when they have some good swells......like they did over half a century ago for small boats.
This is a thing? They go out and ride an "endurance" race for less than a hour... I see guys do this all the time on any of america's lakes and oceans everyday. Where exactly is the skill?
CCWSig lmfao.... dude performance racing skis, (mine for example) do 0-70 in about 3 seconds. Most of these guys are doing about 80-90mph. These aren't moving 40 mph like the people you see at the lake. Every little wake. Every angle in the water, throws you and smacks you around. When you see them getting air, yah that shit hurts! That's not intentional. That's from hitting a wake head on and smashing the water like a mac truck If you make one wrong move, twitch wrong, hand slips, foot slips, you're coming off an 800 lb machine moving at 90mph beneath your feet. You do not see this all the time. I guarantee if you rode on the back with one of these guys for 2 minutes you'd piss your pants.
