Niiice!!!! Saw you guys run in Key West in 2013 for the finals. This is the first shootout at the Lake of the ozarks that I have missed. Great job!!!!!!!!
The good ole days.... No one will ever come remotely close to that speed nowadays..... Especially on a 3/4 course. Anyone know where that boat is today? I haven't seen it in a shootout since....
Sure don't look like 224mph. Looks more like 80-100mph. I hate how the dumb ass camera man zooms in on the pass.. rendering it impossible to compare it to anything around it.
Über 390 Km/h schnell oder anders gesagt pro Sekunde 109 Meter das ist schneller als sehr viele sehr schnelle Autos fahren können ja sogar schneller als viele Hubschrauber fliegen können.
You know how this works, right? The owner, who probably enjoys carnival rides, but knows little about boat at speed, gets to "drive" the boat, that is he sits behind the low speed only wheel, while the throttle man accelerates and steers the boat with the throttles.
What a dickhead. I won't try to defend Sheikh Hassan from your scurrilous taunts except to say he's been racing Class1 for years. Steve Curtis wouldn't have agreed to throttling QATAR if he didn't think Hassan could drive the boat. Hassan loves racing boats and he loves boating. That's good enough for me.
@ The lake of the ozarks in Missouri, (this would be in the city of Osage Beach). It's an absolutely beautiful place to live but I had to move in 2009 when the market crashed, the lake is heavily dependant on tourism and our painting company business dropped about 75% basically overnight so I moved to Tulsa.
@ Yeah it was a shock, we sold our house and almost everything we owned except for essentials and moved here without even having a place rented yet, I've never done something so spontaneous or risky before but luckily it worked out super well. I miss the beauty of the lake but business and the people in Tulsa are fantastic so it was a good move.
