Thank you I had the same exact problem I cleaned my throttle body and learned how thanks to your video and it fixed it I in about 93 close to 100 and it was bad and I removed gunk build up
Throttle bodies never get any attention. That ring of gunk restricts air flow at idle and sticks at first acceleration. Glad you were able to get your car back up and running brother. Thank you for the comment.

When you disconnect the battery to remove the throttle body, once u reconnected the battery after the install, did the computer resent the throttle body?
Can you make a new video on Chevy Malibu 2014 showing exactly which screws to remove (POV) please? My throttle body needs cleaning bc my Malibu is starting to kick/hesitate..
Throttle body (as it sits) on engine. You have 2 bolts in back (firewall side) and 2 in front (towards engine). The one that’s a little hard to get too is engine side (drivers side). The other ones are pretty easy. I can’t recall removing coolant hose.
Color me Beautiful I wish I could’ve found the problem with this one. The owner was a car dealership and decided to auction it off. I didn’t get to find what the issue was.
These engines are known for the intake manifold bolts backing out a bit or a lot. I had to tighten all my intake bolts down 2 1/2 turns, they backed out a bit. My car had the same issue, it's a vacuum leak on the intake, it helped my car out with this problem.
I have this same exact car , I bought it brand new and it has something called auto stop where it turns off the car at stop lights to save gas. It doesn’t do it all the time but the dealer told me when the parameters are met then it shuts off to save gas but starts back when I lift on the brakes.
It would have been nice if you showed us how to actually remove the air box. I'm still trying to figure out how to do it and I can't mess with the throttle body unless that's removed first. Thanks for the video but it was no help to me
Anthony Jarrah 1/4 12 inch extension with 8mm socket. Reach in from the right side. It has a hose clamp that has to be loosened. Sorry I didn’t show that part.
If u can't reach it (it's not easy) use a quarter but hold it tight, you can break it loose that way like using a screwdriver, then just put your socket head on it with your fingers and turn till it's loose enough for u to pull the hose off
