Love the new Mazda 6 (just wish manual was offered in higher trim level) and real nice job on the video! I too don't like the pin striping as it doesn't quite follow the lines on the car by the door and although the trunk it large and nicely shaped, it doesn't rival a CV's deep one - looked it up it has 20.6 cu ft.
I leased one of these a week ago. Everything about it is awesome except for the audio system. If you have the Bose system with Nav, ipod integration doesn't work right. It starts from the beginning of your ipod every time you start the car, and won't let you play playlists. Also, it takes a long time to load every time you start your car, the more music on the ipod the longer it takes. Bluetooth isn't much better, it also takes a while to load and disables the repeat playlist option
The video doesn't do Soul Red justice. It's the one color I can't keep in stock. I'm not a 'Red' car fan myself but there's no denying the appeal when seen in person.
What sensors are you referring to? This has Forward Obstacle Alert, Smart City Brake, Blind Spot Monitoring System, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Radar Cruise Control, Back Up Camera, Rear Parking Sensors, Rain Sensing Windshield Wipers, Auto On/Off Headlights, Heated/Auto Dimming Drivers Mirror, Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror. Can't believe you said "no sensors".
I need to correct myself. Heated seats are standard in the GT. Not available in the Sport or Touring models. This is an oversight by Mazda. If they're listening then there should be an option for a sunroof and heated seats in the Touring model in 2015.
It does have heated seats, only the KIA Optima have cooled seats in the midsize non luxury brands in america, the cars with cooled seats are in the full size market which cost around 37k to spec with cooled seats in brands like Hyundai and a lot more in others, i believe that only Nissan have paddle shifters in the column in midsize cars (go drive cvts lol). And manual in the Top trims well move to Europe, u wont see a midsize top trim car with a manual in the USA aside from sport coupes.
Much better styling than the other midsize cars. Much better handling and a sporty feel. Great fuel economy. Great GT option package. I test drove the Fusion, Altima, and Passat. This is by far the better car. Didn't bother with the Accord--because it's boring.
In Europe this is a Mazda 6 2013 model. So say almost all the videos on YT. This model was on sale from the beginning of January 2013. In the east late 2013/2014 as can under- stand. Automatic transmission in the top model is an option, for which you pay extra in Europe. The video is good, the speaker not quite as good, but why didn't you take it for a test drive ???
Thanks for you incite. I didn't take it for a test drive because I figured I could tell you everything you need to know without driving it. Thanks for watching!
I must admit after seeing this car in grey and black... red is the worst color of this car because this is a really good looking car in all the other colors.
No no no.... Paddle shifters belong on the steering column where they belong, NOT on the wheel. Where are the heated and cooled seats? This car shud have a manual Trans... NOT a stupid automatic slush box.
