The Mercedes-Benz G-Class has its roots back in 1979, when
Daimler-Benz decided to create a rugged military off-roader which
would be built by Magna Steyr in Austria. Soon enough, a civilian
version hit the market and went through several iterations, and saw an
extensive revamp in 1990, becoming the first generation, or W463. The
W463 would run for 28 years before the W463A second-generation took
