Thank you and your daughter for making this video. I have a 2011 Juke and the videos for that model year did not match the configuration on my Juke but your explanation of taking out the glove box and location of the blower match perfectly to my situation. I will update this comment once ive accomplish the repairs.
I can’t tell you thank you enough for giving me this video online and everybody else you saved me $1300. I got the blower motor we put it in in about 10 minutes. It was amazing thank you so much these car dealerships are rip off and I got the part off eBayand it was brand new. The part was $49. Thank you so much.❤
Dude!!!!!! I'm a 55 year old girl woman and my blower went out in my 2015 juke! I was not confident so I called a mechanic guy...he charged my $40 to diagnose it...He did exactly what I did....checked fuses, and pushed buttons😂 He did tell me what part to order, and I was supposed to let him know when it arrived....IT GOT HERE TODAY AND I FOLLOWED YOUR VIDEO AND I TOTALLY DID IT!!! IT WORKS!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Took me maybe a half hour max. He said it was going to take 1.5 hours of labor😆😆😆😆💜💜💜💜💜💜💜You are MY HERO!!!!!
There was legitimately a dead mouse in mine. Thanks this video really help me save hundreds of dollars. I didn’t even have to buy a new one just needed to shake out the mouse. The craziest things that can get caught in there.
Thank you so much! You were right, it was just that easy. 9 screws and a little twist of the motor and it was done. It was 90 degrees here today and it feels soooo good to have my AC back. I never would have tried this on my own without your video. Thanks again!!! 👏🏼
You are so welcome. Glad you have your AC back. I thought about redoing the video now that I have a garage to work in, but I don't think it would be as entertaining without my daughter in it. Thanks for the comments. Enjoy.
Sir, thank you for your help. This video saved me $813.00 for my AC Blower motor. Nissan was trying to rob me. It took me about 15 min to do the entire job. Everything you said and did helped. Please make more videos for future use. Thanks Again.
i own a 2014 nissan juke and going off your video the parts cost me 98$ from advanced auto parts and it was just as easy as you said it would be, i have made 2 comments on this video one before and after finishing to reference the time it took me to finish this job. took me about 30 min start to finish
Thank you for this. I have a ‘15 and mine went out yesterday in 91 degree heat. Was able to change it out myself in less than 20 minutes thank you this video!
Great video I appreciate it I’m a disabled mechanic and my blower motor is on its way out and this video shows that I can have my 14yr old son do it please post any other fixit videos on a Nissan Juke that you may have to do thanks again.
Thank you so much for this! Having a ac blow motor issue with my 12 Juke. I wanted to let everyone know that you don’t have to remove the glovebox for the cabin filter part. I was able to see mine under the glove box! Not saying you shouldn’t. But it saved me the screwing! It’s a tight squeeze but worth the screwing hassle. Anyways. Thanks again for the blower motor tip!!
Thanks for the video and the how to! Please do check your cabin air filter and clear that out before running the new blower motor. Mine was completely clogged with leaves and pine needles. I mean stuffed to the gills. The motor may have overheated due to lack of air flow. So good idea to get in there with a vacuum to clear that out and then put a new filter in. Maybe order it together w/motor.
Many thanks to you and your daughter for the video. I will be giving it a try once the motor arrives. Looks like it's straightforward. Will update the post when the mission is complete.
Thanks for taking the time to show how it was done [and to your daughter for not loosing the screws :) ]. I'm going to try fixing my 2015 Sentra blower that is vibrating the entire dash and sounds like it's chopping wood [hopefully it's not actually doing that]. Much appreciated.
Thanks for the video and info! Had a hard time at first removing the glovebox after unscrewing, but was finally able to pop out the top right corner and then it came out. The fan had a couple handfuls of fiberglass batt insulation in it, which was causing a loud vibration. Also used a mirror and flashlight and found more insulation in blower housing, which I fished out with a hooked wire. So glad to avoid repair shop!
Thank you for this video, extra fun footage with your daughter in charge! LOL 👌🏽 Again great video for this older woman that my blower stopped working on my 2014 Juke .. especially being on a budget
OMG! Thank you so much for this video! I am going to try this myself before I take my car in on Monday. I replaced the cabin air filter myself and this seems easy enough!
Thanks a million, found some twigs in there plus a broken fan blade so the vibration was unbearable. Saved me a bundle of 🤑🤑🤑, thanks all the way from Swaziland, southern Africa
That's great! Glad you were able to get it all figured out. Apparently the debris falls through the opening between the wiper blades. My wife use to park under trees for shade. Not anymore.
Thank you for doing this video. My dad's 2012 juke is having that issue. Now I can check it and do it myself. Really appreciate it. Awesome seeing a father showing his daughter too. You don't see that much nowadays. Subbed! 😀✌️
Sorry for the delay in responding. I hope this helps you out. My daughter is usually pretty hands on if I can keep her attention. Thanks for the comments.
great dad involving the kids, one correction you can change the cabin filter with or without removing the glove box depends on how you want to do it. i changed mine filter without removing the glove box
BOOOOMMM💥💥💥💥 I JUST FOUND my in depth stash department, take blower fan off motor, to have more room in there, STASH STASH, put motor in to hide the stash, pack every thing up and GOOOOD TOOO GOOO, thanks DUUUUDEEE 😁😁😁😁😁😜😜😜😜🤡👌👌👌
No I didn't have to replace anything else. The blower motors are pretty weak in terms of resistance. Little pieces of debris from trees got lodged in the blades and that's all she wrote.
Hi, the white plug that we see at 9:50 is it the plug of the blower resistor? because I have to change it on my Juke 2013 and the dealer charge me 5 hours + $150 for to piece to change it.
What problems caused you to replace the blower motor? My wife's 2014 Juke AC is suddenly blowing hot and humid air, shifts to cold randomly and back to humid hot again. Trying to self diagnose. Too hot for this mess in Texas!
Have removed my glove box but the blower motor is nowhere to be found. Please help, where could it be located!! I have a Nissan Juke 2014, UK version (right hand drive).
I brought my car in for an oil change and they took out my filter, threw it away, and never replaced it. Im pretty sure i have debris in my blower. Any suggestions on how to get debris out?
The only thing I can think of is removing the blower motor and vacuuming out the area and or trying to blow out the debris from the blower motors location. I can't say for sure that there is a clear path from the air filter box to the blower motor. I do know that the vent on the hood is a clear path to the blower motor. That's what ruined ours, my wife liked to park under trees for shade and the debris would fall onto the car, get into the vent and jam in the blades of the blower. I hope this helps.
hello how did you understand that it was the fan to replace? I loaded the climate. I saw that there is no leak but it is very difficult to cool down. what can it be?
I was pretty certain it was the fan motor because I could hear the a/c turn on but the fan didn't on any speed. You can check it by removing it and seeing if there is any debris in it or if it even rotates.
@@jazee29 maybe my problem is different, the air conditioning turns on, the compressor runs, the fan works but after 15 minutes it cools down. I reloaded and the mechanic told me that the system has no leaks
Amazeballs thanks for doing this. I need to change mine (2015 Juke), it makes a rumbling noise. Did the motor you ordered come with the squirrel cage on or did you have to use your old one?
@@jazee29 Thanks, but it looks like I got lucky,, a piece of insulation foam was lodged inside the fan cage. Thanks to your video, I solved it in a snap and swapped by cabin fillter while under :)
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to help with this. The heater blower motor resistor is located underneath the dashboard in the heater/AC compartment. The resistor enables the heater blower motor to change the speed of the fan. Without this part you will not be able to change the speed of the airflow from the blower motor. It is also possible that the heater motor blower may not work at all. If the resistor has gone bad, it is likely that the fan will work only on the highest speed. Keep in mind: *If no air is coming out of your vents, you may have a problem with the heater blower motor as well as the resistor. * Mechanical resistance to the fan (such as when something gets stuck in the fan), can often cause damage to the heater blower motor resistor. I hope this helps in some way.
@@jazee29 hey in your video from 11:18 to 11:30 there is a white part with gears what that part called .. apparently it controles how the air goes tru the vents in the car.. mines fell out .. how do i fix?
@@kerloncruickshank9826 I have searched like crazy for the name of that part. Even my detailed manual doesn't address it. However, I think I found it. Nissanpartsdeal.com, the part is called Link-main part #27155-1FC0A. Or 27155P. Without my juke here I can't look into it. I will as soon as I can. For now I hope this helps.
Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I found my service manual online. Unfortunately I don't see the link anymore. I did find another website that offers the 2014 juke manual for $8.95. Don't hold me to it, but I'm pretty sure it's the same for the 2013. I couldn't find a hard copy anywhere and I needed one for the blower motor replacement. Here's the link. www.reliable-store.com I believe you can email them and ask if the 2014 manual would work for your 2013. Good luck
Sorry for the long delay in getting back to you. The main thing that made me focus on the blower was the fact that the system would charge when it was turned on. You could hear it try to start up. Just not the blower. Also, the blower immediately quit. It's worth just pulling it out to inspect it. Hope this helps.
I had to buy a motor from the dealer because i live in alaska and needed it right away. They were the only place that had one and its -40° out. $276 just to buy the part........
@@jazee29 Glad I did. Pulled out a ton of leaves and fabric. A little but longer and I would have been replacing it. Seems to have a some place in the engine bay where big stuff can get in.
@@brianatleff debris gets in through the vents under the windshield wipers and sometimes around the air filter. Parking the car under trees will make the issue worse.
