I took a 2016 Focus ST and Swapped it into my 2014 SE Sedan in my garage at home. Has radically transformed the performance of this car. Very glad to get rid of the automatic.

Not a huge fan of the widebody because it looks too incomplete but I love this Focus and I hella love this channel *SUBBED*

Nice Video! My project I hope to finish by August is to have mine fully converted to a 2017 ST. I have a 2014 SE sedan. So far all i’ve done is tint windows, tint taillights, upgrade sync 1 to sync 3, and put the ST seats in. The Sync upgrade was time consuming and pretty expensive due to shortages, but now that I’m finished with it, I figured this would be my next move. A slight issue I have though, is my 2014 Sedan didn’t come with fog lights built in, and there is little plastic circles where they should be. Is there a way I could swap them in in the future? Anyways, enjoyed watching the video man! Subscribed and liked! Cant wait for more pre-facelift Sedan modifications!

@@jakeskicks what bumper did you get? Is it an OEM one or a one from eBay? Do you have the rubber strip between the bumper and hood ? You might have to adjust ur hood to go more forward

@@ryanscheer5696 i got it off ebay for around $600 because the thought of getting it from a dealer didn't even cross my mind at the time. the problem is the bumper sits lower than the hood does, and yes i took the rubber piece out bc it looks worse than with it in, due to the gap

@@jakeskicks gotcha , I got mine on eBay as well. You might have to raise up the front crashbar/ radiator support. There are 4 13mm bolts that hold it on. Other than that you might also lower the hood latch to try and get it to lower down . You could also try to raise both front fenders up so the bumper sits higher . I had to fight mine a good bit . I had to fight it even more when I did the chassis mounted splitter install

I’m looking into buying the Focus RS (Look) Front bumper for my 2012 Sedan which is compatible with the regular Focus se headlights. However, do you think the plugs for the fog lights would match for a ‘12?

The fog light plugs should be the similar if not the same . Worst case you just have to change the harness connector at the end . I think maxton designs is the only company that made a rs looking bumper for the pre facelift lights and hood

Dude, do you think I can make the same changes for a 20212 Ford Fiesta SE? I see that Ford fiesta, focus uses the same chassis, it only changes styles.

Quick question i have a focus st 2014 and bumper are out of stock i was wandering if I need to change the hood too or I can only change the lights and the front bumper ?

@@josephl3602 For the RS rear bumper you'd only be able to fit it to a 15+ hatch. The hatchbacks had sheetmetal changed as part of the facelift so you can't swap between '12-14 and 15+ rear ends.

I'm looking to do one soon and need some info on what to or not to do and maybe an idea of parts needed. Hear a lot of people have done it, but no one has really gotten into detail about it.

Was the RS bumper OEM. Or was it aftermarket? I want to do this on an ST but people said that the aftermarket one from China doesn’t fit too well. In the video you made it seam like it bolted right up. Do you have the link?

It was aftermarket , but fit surprisingly well. Not oe quality but really is pretty nice . It took a bit of messing with to get it just right , but really lines up great.

Thank you! What about the wiring to the fog lights. Is it plug n play coming from the ST or does it require cutting wires and soldering.

How’d you get the corners of the bumper to fit with the hood? I bought the same eBay one and it’s off by a ton I see you drilled a screw or something into it 😂

It was pretty off when I did the test fit , but after I took it apart I realized the inner plastic frame wasn't clipped on all the way . Fit much better after that
