Not sure if anybody else had problems with the sensors, but cause the metal is thicker, the added pressure broke off the external retention ring (which you can't buy separately). So might be worth shaving down the OEM retention clip?
Why not unbolt the 4 bolts holding to the frame on each sides and pull complete bumper off? A lot of unnecessary work. All bolts can accessed from below.
Thanks. Just curious. Why did you remove so many screws? Just disconnect the wires and the six bolts holding the bumper brackets to the truck and remove the entire bumper as an assembly? No need to remove the grill either.
Okay so I want this style bumper...but for 07-13 Model Tundras. I know they are very similar in design but wouldn't want to risk it, would be cool if this fit 07-13 or a design like this was adapted for 07-13 Tundras.
What if you have a trd pro skid plate drop kit? Installed a diff drop so had to get a spacer kit to make the trd pro skid plate fit. How would the lower bumper support fit?
