The 8-1, #2 Alabama Crimson Tide traveled to Starkville, MS to face the 7-2, #17 Mississippi State Bulldogs. This was the 100th meeting between the two schools. It was also Nick Saban's 100th victory as Alabama head coach.
He actually had decent games vs Bama, nearly bringing them back in 2014 when they were #1. However, the talent of his supporting cast just could not match up with Bama's talent.
