My wife just called me in tears....she was at a gas station 100 miles away and her 2017 Mustang wouldn’t recognize the fob. I watched this and called her and told her what the vid said to do...IT WORKED!!! Thanks so much!
Unfortunately this didn't work for me. I Tried all the steps here. I appreciate the video and it seems it works for most people. Thank you so much! My Car had blinkers 'ON' automatically and when I removed the key from the fob and got inside the car, I couldn't start the car. None of the buttons worked. I called Ford assistance and they Jumped the battery and Voila, in a minute everything was back to normal. why I didn't suspect a dead car battery was because the blinkers and LCD display light wouldn't go out. Always check you battery and tire conditions before driving!
THANK YOU!!!!! This tip worked!! I was losing it trying to fix the key even after replacing the new batteries. It worked after I replace them but it began intermittently working.
My mechanic was repairing my car & couldn't get my car started, said the Can't Detect Fob came on. He was going to call the lock smith in the morning. I decided to RU-vid this problem & came across this video. I called him with this information, he called me back less than 2 minutes with my car running. Very Happy indeed for your video :)
You don’t need to go dealer to change the batter on key fob you can do it your self and you don’t get charged but if want to get charged changing a small battery go head!
