This is a Review of the 2015 Goldwing 40th Anniversary model level 1. This is my first video using the Sena 10C to record. I will have to move the mic it appears to close to my mouth in my helmet.
I heard it a couple of times, just to bad you cant sell all the used harley t-shirts, harley head bands, leather chaps, little leather harley vest, your wife’s skin tight camel toe jeans, bleached blond hair, too tight t-shirts showing her boob job, don’t forget the tattoos
"It goes about it's business and moves." That's what I love about my Gold Wing as well - no pretense about having something to prove. You can put on the miles, accelerate quickly when you need to, and arrive fairly relaxed and not beat up by vibration & noise. I've had young kids ask if its electric. With the linked brakes, the control (hand or foot) activates 1/2 of the pistons in the opposite caliper. So if you apply pressure to the foot control only 1/2 the pistons in the front are used.
I own a 2013 Harley Davidson roadglide and i am about to get rid of it for a goldwing. The Goldwing runs a lot cooler and no vibration at all. Storage is a lot more than the Harley Davidson and Goldwing has more horsepower stock wise. Gas mileage is way better!! 👌🏾
May i suggest getting Dunlop E4's when the stock tires wear out... it will feel like you skating on ice, it's much more flickable, yet very planted. And they are really good in wet weather. I know this will cause a ton of replies on tire brands, but that is humble opinion.
Nice job. Hope you are still enjoying your Wing. Been riding 08 level 3 wing since 2011. Now near 100k on mine and she runs like brand new. saw one comment abt foot placement, yeah I wd say that's a weak spot that takes some getting used to but some nice forward pegs fixes that for me to stretch legs. all of the other benefits u mention more than compensates for the small foot placement concern to me. nice job!!😁
Thanks for the great review, love the red & black colors too! I test rode an '05' 1800 last week & was completly impressed. Thinkin that will be my next purchase. Maybe I missed it on this vid, but I love that Honda engineered a great ride for passenger as well, one of the main reasons Iam looking at the Wing... All you are missing on is this sweet ride is a luggage rack!! Thanks again & peace from Nor Minnesota... DB.
luggage rack is in my opinion as waste of money and is ugly too . im taking mine off, i will put plugs in the screw holes. Completely unimpressed . the top box is abs plastic very flimsy. the rack is unusable. just bling.
Love your voice and demeanor but video sound was so distorted. Suggest voice over but Im sure people have already told you that. Happy 2019 and safe rides my friend.
Seriously considering selling Harley for one of these. My friend let me ride his and I was amazed by comfort and power and everything. I know I'd be shunned by my Harley buddies.
It's sad that social pressure from your so called peers will influence your riding experience. Perhaps some non judgmental friends are in order? Real riders know, its not what you ride, but as long as you ride. Keep the rubber side down, i guess.
+Chris X I moved to take a job so none are around me anymore anyway. I think Gold Wing or Indian Roadmaster will be next bike. Harley is paid for so my wife told me we should just keep it for now.
Thats cool man, those Indians look and sound great. You can't deny that in the touring category, the goldwing is a precision tool. I've done pretty extensive research on the wing vs all other bikes and the wing just is in a different category. If you're traveling with your sweetie the wing is #1!
Have you ridden the new generation Gold Wing? If so, how does it compare to yours? Which of the two generations is “better” for a first-time Gold Wing buyer? Thank you.
I got 43mpg on both my F6Bs and my 16 Goldwing. I wish they did something to make the engine pull to at least 6k, a 6 speed, and an adjustable front suspension.
"Surround sound whatever that means"..LOL, you can adjust the volume in the rear, and depending on the audio track you are listening too.. you may just have, lets say guitars in the rear in certain songs, just like at home if you listen to a footbal game in surround sound, the announcers will be behind you while the crowd noise is all around you... it's a 360 audio experience.
