I was on a GSX-R600 the last time I was at Misano, and the world-renowned Italian racetrack seemed quite lengthy, with several long straights to stretch throttle cables for extended durations. Aboard Aprilia‘s new and more powerful RSV4, the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli seemed like an overgrown go-kart track.

Dudes you've got to step up your audio game for the dialogue. I know it can be challenging to capture around the roar of engines, but I've seen other channels nail it while Motorcycle.com leaves me straining to hear the words time and again. Still great vids with lots of quality footage!

Can someone tell me all the differences between the rf and rr? I heard him say suspension and wheels? obviously the paint and it's limited production but is there more? And what is the difference in suspension i could'nt really hear him...

+cobratoxic 1:1 the RSV4 will beat it in pretty well every way. Same power output, a lot less weight and a lot better handling. Also, a more advanced traction control system. Now, a modified H2 will be a hard deal to beat in a straight line.

For statistic sake. In MotoGP Yamaha is up at the front winning, where as the Aprilia is at the back. Both Susuki and Aprilia are new to MotoGP this year, yet Suzuki has scored points and finished top 10. Aprilia...nothing. This is not to say Aprilia is bad, but answers the question of its low popularity.

Themayseffect Look at WSBK ... where a much closer bike to the RSV4 has consistently won races ... Lets see what they can do in MotoGP ... but I think Aprilia has been the least advertised bike in my experience and that may have something to do with it as well ... Also, there are still quality perception issues if not actual quality issues ... I think the distribution & after sales is also not good ... atleast not in the two countries I have explored it .. US & Germany .. Helll .. I still wanna buy it ..... :-D

Themayseffect Who buys MotoGP bikes?! No one. Who buys production bikes? Everyone and Aprilia has produced one of the best platforms since 2009 leading the charge with electronics ahead of Ducati, BMW and every Japanese bike. Aprilia, as small company that races just happens to make production bikes...it's where my money goes.

I figured someone would argue that, but to answer that, most sport bikes are watered down race bikes(motogp) bikes. The most iconic race replica of this era being the Ducati DesmoRR. So indeed MotoGP has a lot to do with sales and public opinion.

is bigger than motogp you can Google it, the reason it has a bigger audience is because they race bikes much closer to road bikes and people like the idea of that. Your point is invalid. The BMW is not in moto gp and it does poorly in wsbk and gets beaten by the aprillia in track shootouts and it is hideous yet is one of the most popular sport bikes, Again your point is invalid. Have you ever seen an aprilia advertisement? Do you even know where to find an Aprilia dealer or any parts? I rest my case Popularity is not Aprilias problem at all, Therefore nothing you said makes sense.
