2015 Aprilia Tuono V4r Ride and Review 

I have a '14 Tuono V4 1000 APRC in white as my track bike & '21 Tuono V4 1100 non factory in Grey as my Roadie & 1/4 mile Roll Racing. We got 5 Tuono's in the Family the rest are Rotax 1000cc Twins.

4:42 ”I got to take it easy through town”, then pulls a power wheelie in 70-100 mph. I guess it’s nearly impossible to drive that thing slow. Great sales pitch, just have to get me one of those! 🤩🙌👍

Got the same bike for the last 4 years, it s amazing, look out for gearbox failure, 4th gear might cause some issues, hopefully yours won t do that and if you have issues with Hot start there are some threads on the aprilia forum on how to fix it ( you ll need an extra cable from battery to starter selenoid ) .

As for naming her, you gotta name the bike after something meaningful, like something that made you a cool memory with the bike. Like I named my 650 Bambi. Some people think it was in honor of that fine lady I met on S. Congress Ave, an independent businesswoman offering certain services for a nominal fee, but if you thought that you'd be wrong ... though it was a memorable experience. jk jk Nah, it was on honor of that deer (may it rest in peace) that made my life so exciting that one special evening. So when you make a cool memory with the bike, give it a name that reminds you of that memory. Stay safe out there!

You have the 1000cc version, the 1100 has a lot more grunt in the mid-range and should be more reliable.

I almoust buy an older Tuono, but it was too strong for the roads in Austria. I needed something to ride strong and not to go in jail.....

Definitely a sick bike!! So, you can shift up with no clutch but have to use clutch to shift down?

I have 2011 aprc for a long time and be careful about gear box as you can see and feel at 4:27 in that 1st gear You khnow what is that? That is saddly first sign of starting to worn out 1st gear, usualy it is 2 or 4... And gears worn out because of this what happened at 18:00min So be sure when you use quickshifter that you pull gear lever strong and dont let it go until bike fully changed gear... Or it will fall in fake neutral and every time when that happens your gears feel 🤢🥵 Mine is just now came back from mechanics i put new gear box in... 4 and 6 gear was worn out.. soo now i have fresh gearbox, i would even suggest to you to drive it to your mechanic just to take a look because if it is not too late he can replace just 1 gear not whole gear box, and yeah that tuono/rsv4 have cassete gearbox so its easy to replace gearbox ... Btw that bike i fucking awesome 🥰🥰 my mech is also dyno tuner and only with akrapovic slip on it show 170hp and 155 on wheel
