I am looking at the 2017 model at Bass Pro Shops. The one in the showroom has the vinyl flooring. I was hooked when I saw it. After watching this video, I think I'll go with carpet because I live in Florida. HOT !!
I have a 2009 TXW and I also wanted to switch to a 24 volt troller. Just can't find enough room for there extra battery. Have you converted yours yet? Were I not so far away, (Central Illinois) I would be talking to your carpet guy. My carpet is getting a little ragged.
John I haven't yet upgraded the trolling motor orb went to the 24v system. The 45 lber has not really been that bad, I have no trouble with it unless I'm in fast moving currents on the Cumberland River, but I don't think any trolling motor is going to help that much. The vinyl flooring is the next thing to be upgraded, I may end up doing it myself though. I've kind of blown my upgrade money on new electronics with two Lowrance Elite 7 TIs also looking at a kayak for some small river fishing
Not sure there is enough room for an extra battery anyway without major modifications. I found a local guy on craigslist that says he does carpet work. Hopefully he can do my boat at a reasonable price. I tried laying carpet in another boat and made a real mess out of it. This time I will pay someone that knows what they are doing :) I know what you mean about the electronics. I added a couple of Humminbirds to my boat. You have to see whats on the bottom (and sides!) to catch a lot of fish! Good luck with your Tracker. This is my 3rd year with mine and I still love it!
Dirty Trucker Fishing the floor had to be replace the vinyle glue failed and it started falling and pulling up. And it was missing supports from the factory and had to much floation around the bilage motors cause them to burn up and finally the trolling motor battery stop holding a charge took two months to get it back
