To give all these kids an opportunity to to lap the most famous speedway in the world is just awsome! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to give these kids a taste of where a racing career can take them!!
How many kids can say I drove my Quarter midget around Indianapolis motor speedway!!! What an awesome experience maybe someday they will race in the Indianapolis 500 and they can say in victory lane with the Borg Warner Trophy when I was a young boy/girl I drove my quarter midget around the brickyard as a kid!!!!
I remember these days!!! I was in the days when mark martin and Jeff Gordon sponsored to build the new Smyrna track so mark could see Matt race being it’s not to far from Daytona which is where they lived at the time!!! I race in Jr novice, jr Honda, then light gx160 with Matt Martin!!! I have many memories of this!!!! I also raced against Ryan Blaney, and Tyler Labonte, Bobby labonte’s son! My dad lent bobbies car a left front rim! Ahhhh man these days were amazing!!!!
This is Truly cool ! Iv'e been going here for more than 30 years and to see 178 of these cars boys and girls is Great ! Must have been great for them too!
I am so stoked that these kids got to drive around the track but I’m also rather bummed that I didn’t get to see these kids actually get to drive around the track! Let those karts GO!
Good for the kids! We had a parade lap once at Madera Speedway Ca. Same speed for all the kids but if I remember correctly, a couple of half midgets were able to shift through a couple of gears and show some power.Brian Godby in his Bose Built Honda was one if I remember correctly!
I bet these kids loved it. Probably inspired maybe half if not all the kids to work hard in their racing career and academics at school as well to be able to one day get to drive a cup car or indy car one day around this place.
Awesome for those kids that got the opportunity. I can’t believe they let the kids hang their heads out the cage like that. I suppose it’s only a roll round, don’t suppose they do that when they actually race??

all 178 cars got blacked flaged going worng way in the pits. there was no race and the fans were mad about that race and noone came back watching the cars.
The Battle at the Brickyard is what they call the racing that we were doing before this. We raced in the pits of the track and it was pretty battle filled. This took place after all the racing
Not one of them kids have a real competitive side !!if they did all 170 would have took off an raced instead of pacing be hind a pace truck but there just kids they don't realize that what they did is once in a lifetime thing!!they will look back an regret!

Yeah but if you go to fast in a quarter midget they can become unstable and not really balanced I guess u can say. There not made to go very fast on a high track
Boomer my man,they didn't show the actual race because not only was it more exciting than the nascar race, they were 3/10 of an secondment quicker than the cup cars!! Boomer take a gander at the stands, there are 2 or 3 times as many fans in those stands than there were at last year's cup race! Maybe one day people will get their heads out of their asses and pay these little guys what they deserve, which is more than the cup guys are making! LMAO!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Boomer my point is, they CANNOT risk hurting ticket sales any more than they already have with these rockets.
