This car has come a long way, In fact the mid - sizes cars have all come a long way over the years. Just this weekend I got a loaner and it was a 2014 Chevy Malibu, very nice. The Chrysler Sebring I mean 200...lol, the last time I liked one was when our neighbors bought the convertible fully equipped back 1999. By the early 2000 the styling was ok and then the Last generation it was forgettable. But this new one is nice, would I buy one ? No the only Chryslers I like is the Grand Cherokee, 300 hemi or Dodge Durango and the Viper which they have really kept the same body style since I first saw it back in 1993. Kudos to Chrysler for making a stylish mid - size sedan
Is white vinyl back in style? It was last common in the cars of the mid 1970s (though most of them also came with a matching padded white half vinyl roof). No one ever purchased one (a white upholstered car) a 2nd time since over several years dirt from skin, clothing and open windows wore strange patterns into the seats and armrests that could not be washed off.
It's really a beautiful car. My only concern is reliability? How will this hold up over the years. Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat do not have a good reputation on this. I am still driving a 1999 Toyota Avalon that I inherited and it runs perfect. Will this car be able to do the same?
I find it rather odd that they dropped the gas struts on the old one in favor of tradional trunk hinges on the 2015. At least they have a place to stow away, so they don't crush your cargo.
Your talking of the past and that wasn't so bad. Toyota's kill people and get a pass, Nissan had engine fires and the recall was not reported (why?). Oh remember the Nissan van that couldn't get over the recalls and they had to All be bought back and scraped. I feel better now.
