"He has gone from a captain to a legend, and probably rugby league immortality" - Ray Warren. No one could have called that any better. Absolute legend
@user-vk2wp4ot8h Hey mate I just need to know are you a real person or a bot, I see your comments under all sport videos and it has been going for years, please respond.
The reason why he missed is because he forgot to move the ball back 3 meters, He usually puts in at 24 meters at the sideline But here he kicks it at 21m. If he had kicked at at 24 it slightly increases the ange and distance allowing the ball to curl in to the near post which it's was. It was curling in. After watching compilations of kicking I just noticed this.
I came back to watch this after watching the recent final with Panthers vs Broncos... The commentator said that it was the best final in history. I guess he forgot about this one!
It was a better game overall and really felt like the 2 best teams in the comp battling it out In a slugfest. This however was packed filled with errors and penalties, more like a battle for wooden spoon if you ask me. Until the last 5 3 minutes and injury time
To be fair, Hunt knocked it to the side and backwards.. I guess ANY dropped ball in the NRL is a knock on.. Still, Thurston deserved the W.. 2004 he gave his GF medal with the Bulldogs to Steve Price, took the Cowboys to the GF the following year in his first year with them, got done by Benji & the Tigers, so 10 years and change a long time between drinks 💯👊🏾❤️
