Though I drive a ZL1, I absolutely luv the thought of a high powered Challenger. God bless the good ole USA. Big V8 rwd muscle cars ftw!!!

I would like to see this engine sold in the aftermarket as a crate package for vintage hot rods.

Put it in the SRT Jeep Grand Cherokee. All-wheel-drive is the only way to get full acceleration potential out of this engine.

I just keep clicking at 1:18 over and over again. I could swear I was wearing dry pants before this.

I will definitely buy the Jeep SRT Hellcat version. I cannot wait for that to come out.

It sounds amazing. I just hope the finished product has a few more bits that differentiates it from the normal SRT. No mistaking the ZL1/Z28 or the GT500 with the lesser variants.

I wonder why a centrifugal supercharger like Rotrex wasmt used but intead a twin screw? perhaps it would'nt clear the engine bay?

guys based on the video, and if u pause the dyno screen shot. i think we are looking at 700hp easily. 18lbs of boost to a 6.2 liter that can produce already 500hp na....just wait until they hit the street

Only thing that was missing is the Kumho's off the ACR. The tires are what limits the performance of the stock hellcats.

Will there be an option to get the Hellcat wheels on the standard SRT? Something like a track pack wheel/suspension upgrade?

So I go to the Hellcat site, jump to the video here about "Powertrain" and it's all marketing. Where's the details? I mean seriously - couldn't we talk about compression ratios, piston oil squirters, or something that actual gearheads might want to know about? We got "It's got a low restriction intake. Oh, and a low restriction exhaust, too." Great - wow. C'mon - if you are going to attract sophisticated buyers you gotta dig in a little bit. Tell us why IAT2 temps are going to be held in check. Tell us what sort of conditions the car can handle without the ECU pulling timing. Tell us why that ZF transmission is so special - we could talk shift times or how it feels so seamless when shifting gears despite being a traditional torque converter setup instead of a dual clutch design. Don't details like that matter? C'mon Dodge - quit, um - dodging.

The problem with listing actual HP numbers is that HP will vary from engine to engine- especially with different levels of boost at different altitudes. You also don't wanna let other companies target your advertising numbers. I'm thinking 650.

It's only a 6.2 ltr...the 392 is a 6.4 ltr...am I missing something when he says they use a 392 engine??

Wow what a statement for the challenger. The challenger was always third compared to the mustang and camaro. With the hellcat, the challenger may be the new front runner!!
