This is a follow up to people that were asking questions on my first Durango ac clutch problem video. It requires basic wiring knowledge to source your wires and run them to an external relay. This saves you from replaces the PDC/fuse box. I’m not being super specific on this video because your model may have different wire colors. So this isn’t a diy, it just gives information on the process. Be sure to test that you have signal (ground) coming into the fuse box before doing this repair.
Smaller wire shown is signal for relay, larger gauge wire is load carrying directly to the clutch. Be sure to fuse the larger wire because doing this repair bypasses the factory fuse as well.
If you have a different problem and do this repair, you may second guess your repair and then you could be in a mess.
