The Ford F series has been Canada's Best-Selling truck for 48 years. There is an F-series vehicle sold every 41 seconds. There is no doubt the F-150 is the undisputed champion of trucks.
The F-150 is going to be the smartest, most capable and most technologically advanced truck Ford has ever built. Ford rebuilt this truck from the ground up using heavy duty steel making it more heavy-duty but also lighter than ever before. The steel in the frame is stronger than some of the competitions frames. With the changes in the steel and aluminium this truck is going to be 700 lbs lighter!
The F-150 has also received a complete redesign on the front end. The changes include all new LED head lamps, it is also wider to give it the Built Ford Touch stance and 2 LED spot lights on the side mirrors.This truck will also give you more interior space and more rear leg room.
When it comes to the 2015 Ford F-150 is going to come in Regular Cab, Super Cab and Super Crew and what is really awesome about the Super Cab is the rear doors open all the way to the very back.
This truck will also come in XL, XLT, Lariat, Platinum and King Ranch trim levels and there is also the FX4 Off-Rod package. It will also come with 4 engine options. These options are a 3.5L V6 which is new for this model, a 2.7L EcoBoost (that is going to completely change the game with turbo boost and auto stop and start capabilities). You will also be able to get the 5.0L V8 and the 3.5L EcoBoost.
When looking at the technology in this truck you can see the Driver Entry Package which allows you to start and unlock the truck with a faub. You also have push button start and 360 degree camera view which is a first for Ford and is only available in this class.
Wiring for hauling a trailer is now wired into the bumper and this truck comes with Trailer Hitch assist. You also will have the option of a second 8" screen in the instrument panel to customise what you want to see. This truck gives you added storage, LED lights in the box, a tailgate step, a remote to lower and lock/unlock your tailgate, a side step in the 5.5 ft. box and adaptive cruise control.
