honestly brother i loved your review of this truck, not only describing the car accesories but also the buyer mentality. I think a lot of people feels touched with your "car the boss buys" descriptión, because they actually saw their bosses in that car LOL...thank to god I got my own company and got plans to buy this Denali next month...thanks
That's a lot of truck! I'm waiting for the Canyon diesel. I hope they offer a Denali trim with cooled seats! All I want is cooled seats with remote start for those hot days.
Good video and review. I like the high end GM and Ford trucks but in the end I bought the Ram 2500 with the 6.4 Hemi because a) I don't pull anything that requires a diesel engine and b) Ford and GM don't offer a "Mega Cab. The Laramie trim level on the Ram as well as the Mega Cab is what sold me. Bottom line is that if you're in the market for a pickup you cannot make a bad choice between Ford, GM and Ram...you'll find that they're all extremely capable and, when tricked out similarly are priced in the same ballpark. I don't engage in the arguments about which one pulls better or hauls more and I don't slam Ford and/or GM because they build outstanding trucks. Your purchase of one of these trucks is going to be made based on two criteria: the purpose of the truck and your own personal preferences. Good luck to you all.
Im a 19 yr old construction worker from MA and i drive the 2014 1500 5.3 SLT with all the options, crew cab texas edition, thing is so sweet with the cocoa interior, so glad i bought it, not just a boss truck lol
I just ordered a brand new 2015 SLT duramax Z71 4x4 with leather seats, sun roof and all the options for $51,800. That being said I think the prices are exaggerated in this video, the MSRP is high but that can usually be knocked down quite a bit. Also he didn't mention how well the duramax holds its resale value. Overall its a great video an amazing truck
Very good review, but saying that the new f-150 and ram 1500 are encroaching on the 2500 segment is just ludicrous. The 6.6 duramax is not even close to the same class as the ecoboost and hemi.
I got the 2015 sierra slt premium package and the rims are amazing so why would the denali have less attractive rims when paying 10,000 more..just a question :)
well keep punching yourself because that's fucking stupid... the words have become interchangeable these days. From MIT... "Today, the words are virtually synonymous. “Language evolves to take on new tasks,” she explains. “Without thinking about it, we adapt to new meanings and leave the old behind.” We talk about our computer’s dashboard, unaware that in the 1840s, the word referred to the board at the front of a carriage that stopped mud from being splashed on the coachman."
A motor requires a power source and turns electrical energy into mechanical energy. An engine creates its own power converting thermal energy into mechanical energy. shut the hell up fool
nope, round the same price with the same interior GMC Cadillac are both owned by GM you pay for the name if you get a chevy its the same as buying a gmc
Actually, the Denali can't tow as much as a Sierra with a different trim. Max Towing: Sierra 1500: 12,000 lbs Sierra 1500 Denali: 9,200 lbs Sierra 2500 HD: 17,900 lbs Sierra 2500 Denali HD: 17,400 lbs (The truck tested) Sierra 3500 HD: 23,200 lbs Sierra 3500 Denali HD: 22,900
my 16 crew cab 3.42 is only 9,100, with 3.73 its 11,100 It all depends on your cab, bed and gear ratios.. Engine doesn't make that much of a difference like I thought it would
fit4ya1975 Yea. Both engines can tow about the same, just the 6.2 can accelerate faster than the 5.3. If you had a 5.3 and a 6.2, both with a 4.10 final drive, crew cab, standard bed, 2wd, they'd both be able to tow 12,000 lbs with a bumper pull, but the 6.2 would beat the 5.3 in a 0-60 test. Both with 8 speeds by the way.
anthony stevens They may not drive these trucks but they can afford them, some drive just the sierra,1500/2500 and silverado. After all, They are laborers and why spend 60k+ and get it dirty?
Denali is the trim level. It's the highest trim level and available on all three models. HD stands for heavy duty which is the 2500 and 3500 models, not 1500.
It was a okay review. I am a big GMC fan and they are known to be a higher end truck vs the Chevy partner. NOW I would like to know though why you classed it with a Escalade? I have been in various year models of Escalades and saying the new GMC Denali feels like a Escalade inside is a insult to the truck. Escalades aren't all that nice. Don't get me wrong they are okay but nothing like the inside of a GMC Denali.
CHEVY OR GMC? When it comes to their individual mechanical capabilities, there's no difference at all. They come from the same platform. Many resources on this subject.
All I know is if you want to start a poon monsoon, pull up in a truck. You're not starting any poon monsoons in your fancy sports car. Girls like trucks. Period.
$64,000 - converting to GDP...£41,000. I'd still have the truck over a car. You get a lot more for your cash it seems. A mid range Jag is about the same. Screw it, I'll have both. If trucks like that were available here in the UK I'd defiantly put my name on that dotted line.
I don't mean to be a hater, I'm just asking you to say diesel the way it is supposed to be said. It is not spelled with a "Z" so please emphasize the "S" rather that used the "Z" sound when saying the word "DIESEL".
What really blows my mind about this truck is that it makes about 800 Torque!!!!! How the f*ck do they get such a high amount of foot pounds of torque and yet you get that at such low RPMS. That's just ridiculous!!
I wanted to love this truck and looked at one, BUT it is overpriced--RAM has a much nicer and higher quality interior, and MORE options. Ford too, actually (on the options). GM is lagging on options, and behind RAM on quality of interior in the HD segment.
diapersFTMFW11 Dodge is cheap bro. Do a little bit of research before you speak. You're not a definite classification of "smart."Understand something before you initiate it.
ashegheaty lol 263 thats cute. Hennesy Venom fastest car in the world. 270.49. American made. gooooooooooooooodbye. still for the price of either one i can get about 5 f350s and 5 gmc 2500s fully loaded and have more fun then a car you cant open up anywhere
im sorry but you are just plain wrong...the Ram has a MUCH nicer interior....i have test driven both...they both have nice interiors but the RAM has the GMC beat...and i am a GM owner..
I like how he tries hard at the end to convince you why you should get this truck. Lol.. ugly truck. My ram with hemi and rambox I think is way more appealing for half the price...
Fiat? I would assume you are referring to the 3.0V6 VM Motori engine? Ram-Fiat sure did the right thing by offering a smaller V6 diesel in the 1500 series of trucks, but for the 2500 and 3500, a bigger V6(like the Ram 2500 Cummins) or the V8's in GM and Ford 2500's is needed. I really like the 3.0V6 Motori, think it's a great idea in the Ram 1500, but I'll wait for the longer term reliability reports of that engine. That engine already been out 3-4 yrs in Europe?....I'll wait to see 5-10 yrs with our long distances, consistently cold winters...and the fact many Canadians and Americans do tow heavy weight(campers, farming, boats, oil-gas workers etc etc....)probably more consistent than Europeans. Plus big difference in usage between a SUV in Europe and trucks over here. Ram 1500 3.0V6...sweet....but not making my mind up on it fully until a few years of it over here.
Duramax= worst diesel engine EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You want a diesel engine that conquers all diesel engines?? Three letters... C A T!! Well yes cat doesn't have a on road pickup engine (they should they would OWN the market!!) Next selection... Cummins!
I am talking about the new cummins I4 partnership with the Nissan Frontier. You ignorant punk kid. You wouldn't know what a diesel engine was if it was attached to your moms vibe
