4WD LOW activates the 2nd gear in the transfer case which is a larger gear for more torque and requires less throttle. Only to be used off road only. N is to disengage the transfer case from the transmission so essentially all 4 wheels are disconnected from the engine so to speak, used for towing the jeep.
They really should let you tip authors in the comment because this just save me a headache, a pack of cigarettes and a call to my insurance to come get me gas because I couldn’t push it to the gas station literally. 1 mile away
mine is too. Neutral red light is on and 4wd low as well, cannot get it released. Will post what I can once I get this wroked out. 4WD lo is for off road, not good.
