Great to see a lower end model. Not everyone can afford the Trailhawk. I got a Latitude and yea it's a step up from the Sport, but again--Trailhawk is way beyond my reach. There are a million of those videos. This is the very first video I found of something else that was actually driven on not just a paved road. I can do that myself! LOL.

Nice to see some dirt-roading on a non-Trailhawk. I recently purchased a 4x4 Latitude (1.4T/6spd manual) and found it quite capable for the trails around southern New Hampshire. I'm looking forward to sneaking it on the beach in Jersey this weekend and enduring a New England winter in it. I'm sure I'll have much more to talk about once I've got that under my belt.

glad as well to see a sport and not the trailhawk. I bought the latitude 4x4 and love it,we have already taken it to an ohv trail rated for experts it did great. No its not a Rubicon but most people commuting to work don't need one. The renegade is great for weekend warrior offroading and still can pickup the kids too.

I have a 08 jeep patriot Manual 5 speed 4x4. I'm happy to hear this one is a 6 speed manual & in 4x4 :)

Just purchased my Renegade Sport a few days ago. My first car was a TJ Wrangler. Feels good to be back in a Jeep again!

An excellent, well presented review! Really appreciate that you tested the basic model. I'm not into the Trailhawk anyway because it only comes with an automatic gearbox. I mean seriously, that's a mistake I hope they rectify.

Its true Most of the time Auto Industries showcase high end model for test drive, but when people goto buy they realised its priced higher, so Reviewing basic or std model is Good move, Good work team TestDriven TV

Finally someone had a look at the 1.4t. For some reason all the journalists get press cars with 2.4L. Trailhawk this, Trailhawk that. Sick of it already.

I got the 9 speed 948TE "4wd on demand" automatic with the 2L 140PS Diesel engine. Its my first car with automatic transmission and I am realy impressed how well it peforms on- and offroad.

Bought the sport the interior on both is good theres not alot of sacrifice.not offending i just couldnt see myself buying a small suv with 4x4 the renegade can offroad but i would invest in a wrangler for that

Kendall Jackson We test what they give us and a TrailHawk is a model that will come our way later this year - one we look forward to. The Sport is a model which Jeep tells us will have a high take rate as it is their lower priced one.

I have a sport 4x2 and I love it. Never taken it off roaring but I want to. Think it's capable for a little dirt

Never buy a 4x2 Jeep. For a 4x2, there are lot of other better choices than Jeep. Also 4x2 Jeeps got no resale value. Wanta a Jeep? Get a proper Jeep.
