I did this today before I watched the video. I did remove the mounts to take off the belts. I didn't remove any 02 sensor but I did remove the shield. After I got the water pump free the a.c line was in the way. Instead of removing the line off the compressor. I removed the compressor and let it hang, that way the line could be free. Then you will have enough room to remove the water pump.
Another thing I pulled it out from the front, not the back. It isn't possible to remove it from the front with out removing the mounts. The engine has to be jacked up high to take it out.
Did you do the job on the same car? GLA250 Cause you can see i dint do all that to get it out The belt is quite tricky to remove specially if your not doing the job on the lift .. but on the lift i do it with my helper .. he pulls on the belt between the crank and ac compressor to release tension .. and while my helper pulls .. i lock the tensionner with a pin and my long longnose plier
