The display was done that way to minimize the previous bulky dashboard. So careful planing was used when designing and for the placement. Like everything else in life, it will take some time to adjust and you’ll be alright.

The rationale for using the I Pad style design is that it reduces clutter and bulk in the dashboard design and gives more sense of open space. There was an interview with a Mercedes designer somewhere I wish I had a link to.He described it very well. Enjoy the car !

I just purchased a Mercedes Benz 300 C Class 2015 and really love this car. I like your video but I have to say I disagree with on the navi screen. It is part of the design element of the entire car wich is modern luxury. The infotainment screen is supposed to give you the impression of a floating tablet. It's part of the design and I think is so futuristic and modern I love it! I have to ask you a technical question though. Have you noticed your car making and certain noise when shifting from 3rd to 4th and from 4th to 5th when accelerating fast in Sports Plus mode? I've had mine for a week and i'm thinking of bringing it in .

John Scardina Actually I have started to like the look of the floating design also:) Yes! I have a noise that sounds like gears grinding when in full acceleration. But I believe that it actually isn't the gears but the exhaust system, sound tone. Make sure to take it into the dealership if you are skeptical. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I went back and had dealer check out. We drove random C class from the lot and had same sound. we concluded that it was a exhaust note. It has grown on me. kinda like it now.

I test drove Audi A3 2.0T, CLA and the C300 4Matic. I have narrowed the choice to A3 2.0T and C300. Any pointers? I hate IPad like display on the C300. Audi has done a really good job with their retractable display.

Great question, I do not like the A3 interior too much. The exterior looks a little bit outdated. The 2014 Honda Accord has a better interior in my opinion. The interior of the A3 does not scream luxury to me. On the other hand the Mercedes Benz is very nice inside and also feel very expensive. True, the position of the "ipad" is ridiculous. Should at least be retractable. I'm getting the C250 AMG soon. Trying to check as much info before hand through reviews.

Don't mind the location of the screen so much, it's mounted the same way in my brother's new Mazda 3. Must be the coming thing, maybe because the screens are getting bigger all the time and they are having trouble fitting them in anywhere else. I'd just be worried some thief would think it's loose and break in to steal it.

excellent to see a mercedes c class being shown in full view. having decided that its this type of car id drive. I've chosen the c220 preference being UK. not to buy but lease it, its better than owning one and less of a pain of road taxing; serving; mot; insurance only pay the monthly amount and fill with diesel lol. i drove my dads new bmw m5 its great but not as elegant as a mercedes.

Today I tested both the Mercedes Benz C200 and the Audi Q3 SLine because I am deciding whether to buy one or the other. I really enjoyed the power of the Q3 (211 hp and that turbo), but also the comfort, luxury and technology that the c200 offers. I am very confused now and its going to be a really tough decision. I know the c200 won´t change at least in the next 6 years or so, and that the Q3 will change some of its main parts next year. I don´t buy cars too often (1st car after 12 years), so I believe that is something to consider. Any comments would be very appreciated man. Btw, great video!

Thanks for your comment about the video! I do not want to be bias, because I am in love with the Mercedes Brand. I will give you some honest feedback. In my eyes for some reason the Audi brand gives me a Lexus feel. It does not compare to the BMW and Mercedes level. There might be some power to the Audi but you should try out the C400 (329 Horses) you might like that speed. I too love the comfort, and luxury of the C class. Also make sure you know what type of vehicle you are looking for, an SUV or Sedan. Please reply back if you have any questions :)

I'm the happy owner too but Q3 and C-Class it's a totally different story. Comfort and sportiness in one ? Only Mercedes. If you still have any doubts see my videos. I made over 40 movies already. This W205 is great and no Audi can reach this luxury level. Sport+ mode works great and you can feel the car way different than in Comfort or Eco modes. No wind noise in mine! so you need to check it. It should be silent and Luis, if you like quiet inside your car, Merc is the one to go for. I did a sound isulation video tests so you can see how it goes with this baby S-Class ;)

I used to have E class. These engines are quite at low rpm but sound like can at high rpm. I had Lexus ES and presently Honda V6. I can tell no doubt Japanese car engine is way quieter than German makes. I wish you test drive V6 Honda. You will see the difference what I am talking about....

This car looks great . I just wanted to respond to your question about the gps screen !!! it is the ugliest thing in that car and the CLA Class has the same thing . It kinda disappoints me. Like you sad its like they forgot about it and attached it after .!!! Overall i like Mercedes cars .

About the ipad thing I don't like it at all it will look better if they had put It inside the dash. But the reason why they put it there is fir safety because you can look at it while driving because it is up

You’re a little accelerating too fast at 6:08 ,tap gas pedal hard will be more bad for car, tap pedal hard can let the car accelerating quickly, but it’s more hurting car and wasting gas faster.

Is this a dealer loaner or rental? If you purchased it they usually place the push to start button in the key slot. I just purchased this car yesterday, and I'm having lots of problems with my iPod Classic and integrating it with the new media interface. Do you have this issue (not sure what iPod you may have, if any)?

WOW; WHAT A CAR! That computer is anoying to be honest, its really like, oh wait, we forgot to put the screen, lets just add it That shifting from 2,5k to 4k RPM is too powerfull and shifting is too fast :D AWESOME Interior is better than e class in my opinion And what i like mostly is this stunning, seducive, beautiful and angry line. Exterior is simply one of the best that mercedes has ever made.

I would like to get in touch with you asap :) I was fooled by Mercedes and I was given a different car (different interiors). The invoice says black and the interiors are white. They said they can change the interiors but I´m afraid it won't be the same quality. They also say they can do that in my home town, but I want it to be fixed in Germany or wherever they do this things. thanks! ;)

You should not take the car off the lot! Make sure to say that it is not your car, and would like to send one straight from Germany. Because it is not the same. Do not except the car because when they change the interior it might not be the same quality like you said.

I actually did took the car off the lot but then the day after I went back to them and asked them to replace my car with the one I asked for (a new one from Germany). I am now the happy owner of this beauty, but it was a complete nightmare to get the right one :/ Thank you!!
