🥰🥰 Omg you just saved me from going to the dealership I had locked my car but the trunk was still unlocked I click the lanch handler under to open trunk even though the car was lock trunk was still unlocked Thank you for sharing this now my trunk is locked with the switch locked inside glove box 🤝🤜🤛❤

I must have accidentally touched the trunk lock, vallet button inside the glove box & had no idea why i could not open my car trunk! I called my dealership & asked to speak with service & the guy “Joe” said idk 🤷🏼♀️ bring it in & we’ll take a look at it ! The gall- ya sure quickest $200.00 they ever would have made! My son told me to UTUBE IT & VIOLA! I found your helpful video! thank you 😊 🙏🏻 PS- i called back the dealership & spoke to Joe & told him to watch your video because it was an embarrassment that Mercedes Service employees hadn’t any money idea about this or they should have told me
Thanks bro! Didn't know such a button existed in the glove box. The lock button in the glove box went into lock mode by mistake and I was thinking my truck is stuck and wont open.
super helpful! word to the wise, be sure to get your little wheel lug/lock box out from under your trunk mat before you give your car to service. aka new tires. just happened to me. car was in valet mode.
I'll be damn! I have been driving my 2011 C300 since March of 2017 and had no clue that the "magic" blinking green button was in there! I just went out side and popped the trunk and saw it blinking away! I wish I had the glove box feature though! Say, does the glove box feature render the "driver door trunk button" useless too? You never mentioned that...
It does render the “driver door trunk button” useless as well. Found this out the hard way when trying to get groceries and I’d pressed the “valet lock button” not knowing what it did earlier. Felt a little embarrassed in the parking lot haha
